Great value, fun to play, very enjoyable!
The course was in very good condition - much better than several other courses in the area that we played that cost twice as much. Will definitely play here again when we are back in Avalon.
EXTREMELY slow play today.
Extremely slow play today. No rangers in site. This happens alot here but it's the first time in awhile for me. My most recent rounds were much faster (about 4 hours) which makes for a much more enjoyable day. Because of the slow play of the groups ahead of us had to quit after 16 holes due to darkness. The course is in great shape. The greens are fairly slow but in great condition.
nice layout
Right amount of sand, water and hazards. A bad shot can be redeemed with a good follow up shot. Not real long so it makes you feel good at the end of the day

From the greeting at the bag drop, all the way to the post game beer in the clubhouse, this course offers everything for everyone.
Courteous and friendly staff in the pro shop, Challenging course, And a fantastic atmosphere in the clubhouse afterwards.
You will not be disappointed
Course is nice.
Enjoy playing the course but be prepared for a 5 hour round. Needs rangers out on course to push people along. Course can be played in 3.5 hours tops.

Too much pressure to play faster
seems there always is a tournament or a league playing there and even though you are playing well within a four hour round you are told to play faster. I think for a resort course this is annoying. Golf should not be a race to see how fast you play!!!
Nice course
Nice course. A couple of holes a little wet but overall in good condition. Would recommend this course.
very slow play
They book too many T times back to back,basically no intervals,also no rangers to speed up play.course in only fair condition
Indifferent staff, shaggy greens
Really slow play - no ranger on course to maintain gaps. Shaggy greens - not at all consistent. Staff indifferent - no help with bags. An inexpensive public track - pay more somewhere else and enjoy your round more than you will here.
Short track. Help to have some one familiar with the course, and the complementary yardage book is helpful and a great idea.
It was my first time there and I got paired up with a friendly threesome of father, friend, and son. Layout is interesting and small greens makes its a shot makers course. however, great drives will reward you with aome short approaches. Great weather and a sub 80 round was a plus. Will want to test this again. Got a good price with the hot deal, but not sure the full price is worth it though.

the course is a true dogtrack but the pace and staff were good. on the other hand i guess the track is appropriately priced at the low price point for the area.

Nice but overpriced and crowded
We waited 30 min to tee off then waited on every hole the 18 holes took more than 5 hours to finish. The course layout and condition is average, overpriced without a discount.
The course was fun to play and staff is excellent.
The course is moderately challenging but conditions are great. Super helpful staff and a solid value for the money.
The course has made nice improvements over the past few years. well bunkered.
I like this course. Easy to get a tee time on line. It is a bit.pricey but with the amount of play others must not think so. Possibly offering a discount for booking on line should be considered.
Beautiful course, but too crowded yesterday!
We got off 20 minutes late due to crowd. Played slow all day. Finished round in 5+ hours. Would like to play on a day with a smaller crowd.
