Uncharacteristic
Played here many times. The tee boxes were atrocious! The rest of the course seemed ok.
Put some hard work on the Tees and you’ll probably get much better reviews for sure. And get a ranger out to move players along. A 5 1/2 round is definitely unacceptable!!!!!!!!!!!
Bad
So bad conditions every where , t-box, fairway and putting greens
Good enough to return
Liked the course despite it having some temp tees on the front side and no blue tee markers out. Greens were in good shape and had some challenging ones. Would like to go back when they have tees grown in again.
horrible course conditions
First time and last time playing this course. Tee boxes were so bad they had tee's setup on the grass, absolute mess. Rough was almost non existent around the green, expect to chip off dirt and/or mud. $50 for a round to walk still not worth it, I don't understand reviewers that marked conditions as average or better. if this is their definition of average they don't play regularly or have never played a real golf course. don't waste your time or money here, its not worth it. Absolutely horrible conditions.
Fun afternoon
Had 11:30 tee time and the starter got us off right away as a twosome. Pace of play was very good...we did not have to wait at any tee box. Flayed the full 18 in a little over 3 hours. Fairways were in great shape. Greens were aerated recently, but still played fairly true and reasonably fast. They are reseeding many of the tee boxes, so they had temporary tee markers set up on many of the holes. Bunkers were nicely groomed and the sand was soft. Interesting and challenging layout with several water hazards sprinkled throughout the course. Definitely worth the price we paid. I will play again.
Course is in rough shape. Most tips are closed and greens were recently aerated.
great day of golf
Had an early tee time so we were out on time. fairways and greens in very good shape.
Cream ridge
Professional courteous staff in shop and starter. Was late for t time and staff was accommodating even with t times full. Course is not really a tough track greens rolled nicely
This course needs new management...
Second and last time playing here this year. The first time was shortly after re-opening from COVID, so I gave them a pass, but yesterday was the last time I'll play here.
The first time back they were turning away reservations because they were not aligned on tee times for the restart; yesterday was just plain old mismanagement or lack of caring. They had an outing on a Saturday, which is virtually unheard of around here, but they oversold it too, so tee times were a mess. We had a 1:22 tee time and didn't get out until after 2pm, and it was a 5 + hour round.
This could be a nice course if they managed it properly...
Horrible pace of play
Took 6 hours to play a round of golf. They had an outing clogging up the course on a Saturday morning. I understand given the course layout that the pace is a bit slower than normal but not blocking off enough time after an outing made this an horrendous experience. Course itself was in decent shape. A few tee boxes were marked up pretty good but understandable after a summer of play. (Well maybe not a full summer..)
needs a log of work
the men's room was a mess at 9AM.
no paper towels, one stall had no toilet paper.
half the soap dispensers empty, and the place was last renovated in the 80's maybe.
the cart path was broken up and had roots create quite a bumpy ride.
The course itself was a 5 out of 10.
Poor organization
Teed off 45 minutes late. No rangers to keep pace of play
Save your money
My group got to the course earlier to hit some balls on the range but when we checked in, we were told that they are out of range balls. Keep in mind that it was 11am. We asked for a cart from the starter and he said they’re out right now and tee times are running 30 minutes behind schedule. So now we are waiting extra time with nothing to do at the course. I gave this course a second chance after being disappointed two years ago with the non-playable green conditions but my group all agreed that this was the last time. We will not be coming back to play here. The course wasn’t in great shape by any means. The tee boxes are basically mud or dirt, fairways are beat up, and the greens haven’t been repaired all season. Lastly, a staff member in a utility cart pulled up to us around the 7th hole and said we need to speed it up because the guys in front of us are a hole ahead. That made us pretty angry considering the group behind us was no where to be seen on the previous hole. Our pace of play was fine and we weren’t holding anyone up. The only slow pace of play was starting our round 30 minutes later than we signed up for. Never again will I waste my money at this course.
