Fast greens
The course is nice. Bunkers are in good shape. The greens are fast and very steep, if you miss your putt the ball rolls off the green. Very unfair to be on the green in regulation then 3 putt because your ball rolls off the green .
Great time as usual
Fall golf in Nj so leaves everywhere, but keeping it on play helps!
Don’t play on a Sunday in the fall
Frost delay in the morning which is typical in the fall time. Pace of play was horrendous. My original tee time was 11:09. Didn’t tee off until after 12. Finished the front 9 at 3:30. Back 9 was chaotic. Took 10-15 minutes in between each shot. Didn’t even finish my round with daylight ending at 5pm now. There should’ve been more staff out on the course maintaining pace due to the delay but I’m not gonna put all of it on the course. The groups playing should acknowledge that.
Worth every penny
I’ve played the course a dozen times in the last 2 years and it’s always a great play. Course is in good condition although I hate the Par 3 surrounded by water (hole 5 or 6). Even when I put an 8 iron on the green it will run off towards the front or to the right. Otherwise the course is challenging yet fair. Greens can be tough with several Pin positions being set on down slopes so better to putt up the hill than down.
Great course!
Very nice course. Greens, fairways, and tee box all in great shape!
The Worst
One of the most disappointing outings I’ve ever played. Complete chaos and there was no pace of play. No one in charge. Sometimes there would be 12-to 14 people waiting. I left like many other people after 6 holes I thought I was the only one but many people left.
I have seen it in better condition
The fairways and greens are in good shape, but if you are more than a few yards off the fairway, you are on hardpan. Also a lot of the bunkers are dirt, not sand. The 15th green is like playing miniature golf, 30 feet below the hole, putt missed the hole and rolled 20 feet back down the hill to me.
Complete nonsense
It was the most disappointing and dysfunctional day of golf. I left after 6 holes.
Horrible pace no control
Pace of play was horrendous didn’t even get to finish 18 holes with a 11:00 tee time. No solution or discount offered very frustrating
Slow slow slow
1 hour frost delay and a five and a half hour round.
Lots of beginner golfers and very tricky pins
Need Marshalls Badly!
I love the course but please please you need marshals out there to move it along. It took 2 hours 20 minutes for front nine. Hackers and slow players. We skipped 3 foursomes on 10th hole and jumped to 11 and played back nine in 1 hour and 40 minutes. For $64, I expect you to move the people with no golf etiquette along. Marshals please!!!!
Mr Bru Bru
Excellent shape. Every green extremely consistent. Fairways cut perfectly. Couple chewed up tee boxes but that’s to be expected with the amount of play this course gets. Now if I didn’t stink I would enjoy it even more!!
Cream Ridge
Good course for average golfer. Pin placements on back nine are too often on sloping parts of the green.
