Green Tree Golf Course
About
The standard 18-hole Green Tree Golf Course keeps in mind both skilled and inexperienced golfers. This public course has tight fairways lined with trees and greens of Rye Grass. The longest tees have a yardage of 5709, playing to a par of 70.
The golf course has three sets of teeboxes to provide an interesting game. There is also a driving range and practice green for beginners or those that would like some practice. The first shot is a difficult par-4 dogleg right that has water, bunkers, and heavy forest to look out for.

Why I picked the course
I picked the course because one of my threesome needed an inexpensive place to play. The $12 noon time tee time fit the bill for this beautiful day. My big problem with Green Tree is the quantity of water hazards, some at unfair places, e.g., 3rd hole center of fairway stream. Whoever set the hole placements this day tried to give us as many sidehill placements as possible. Fairway shots were not always rewarded with decent lies. Cheap price was the benefit. If I'd have paid full price, I would have not have gone.
Great county course
This is a great little 5300 yard course to practice your skills. My challenge to any golfer is to try to shoot par from the back tees. If you can do this you are quite a player. The staff is great especially justin,
fun and sporty
I play this course often. It's fun and sporty with the most reasnable prices in the area.
Good Short Course
Only 5,500 yards from back tees but a fun and reasonably interesting challenge. And not all holes are so short: a 676 yard par-6, 2 par-5s of 459-468, a 397 yard par-4. I thought the slope of 108 was understated.
Greens were in great shape.
A great value at my $12 cost!
Fun course to play and they have a 667 par 6 hole
Course was in excellent condition, greens were also in great condition. Leaves on the green were a little disturbing but that's the price to pay this time of the year.
challenging tree lined fairways & water holes
great time staff is excellent, greens in good conditin & driving range
Short,narrow tree lined fairways
We were in AC for a few days and decided to play here for twelve bucks.
It was an ok course but too many leaves and hidden ponds and creeks.
We still had fun.
Practice Course Only
The course was in pretty bad shape. The tee boxes were matty and uneven. Fairways were hit or miss in regard to finding a nice lie with grass and the rough was in pretty bad shape.
Having said all that, we got a hot deal on the course and only paid $13 a person, so it was better than going to hit a bucket of balls, but I would not pay more than that for a round here.
This is a great course to play if you want to work on your iron shots because most of the holes are relatively short and you can tee off with a mid iron to get inside of 150 yards and work on your various approach shots, but I would not play here otherwise.
Very nice greens.
Very nice greens and also liked that there were lots of different tee boxes. The fairways were a little in need of work. Very good value with GolfNow price.
The staff is great
Great Staff and fun place to play most of all the Value for what you pay.
Great value for the dollar
Greens were mostly really good, though there were some holes with divots scattered around. Course has many short holes but is still very challenging. For the price this course can't be beat.
The practice putting surface is nice. The driving range needs to be widened or a net placed on the left side for wayward shots.
The course is good for short hitters. The rough needs to be cleaned or improved and the car path must be leveled. For the price of the green fee including cart and range balls, I think you are getting your money's worth. The fairway were also too hard.
Didn't finish round due to darkness
Great for the money
Not beating the quality of this course for how much it costs youj
Nice course
This course is tight and curvy. Watch the snakes!!
Had a great time playing with my son and a couple guys we were paired up with from Reading, PA. Greens phenomenal.
Fun course to play. Great layout but a little short and fairways and rough needs work, although their was a crew working all over the course which was good to see. The greens and around the greens were pristine and rolled true and made putting and chipping a real pleasure for all in my group. Great value for the money and can see this course much much better once the fairways/rough in better shape.
Needs attention
This is short course but is fun to play. Greens were in good condition but fairways and tee box were not. Good value but course needs a lot of work.
Good for the money
If you want a confidence builder, this is the course for you. You can probably find great deal on GolfNow however there are some not so smooth fairways out there. Greens were actually nice.
It's short but challenging. Better hit your irons and wedges well!
This course is only 5500 yds from the back tees, so I thought I would eat it alive. But I had to leave my driver in the bag most of the day, playing off the tee instead with my 5 wood and 4-and-5 irons. This course requires that you be accurate off the tee with woods or long irons, and the greens are pretty small so you have to be accurate with your wedges also. There is a TON of water on this course, so play it safe! The greens putt true, a bit on the slow side. Overall a fun course and a great value!
Very Good
This course had some challenging holes and was maintained very well.
Great value for the money. The course is well-maintained as well.
Overall, it was a great course to play at. I would definitely recommend this course.
