Golf in January
Centerton has never been 4 or 5 stars. It is what it is. Generally flat, a little water here and there. For January, the course is very playable. Greens looked Bumpy and shaggy but rolled faster then expected Worth the 45 minute drive for the deal. Solid 3 stars. One last question, what Is with black flags on some holes? Very hard to see the pin with a black flag on it
Centerton is back!
It’s been a few years since I’ve been to Centerton Golf Club, and I am happy to be back! Fairways look great and the greens are smooth. The fall foliage has been a challenge for the course conditions, but overall very good shape. Can’t wait to go back.
Due on a frosty morning, our 0950 tee time was an hour late. There were at least seven groups ahead of us and this just led to slower play. The course has improved since earlier this year. The leaves on the fairways did make it a bit difficult to find balls. For the price this time of year if you can catch a warm day it’s definitely worth it.
Fun round
Early morning round. Crew did a real nice job blowing the leaves off of the fairway and greens. It’s obvious month to month that there is steady work going on to improve the condition. Tees have been adjusted as the boxes get work- doesn’t affect the hole at all. Fair ways still crabby, but improved around the greens. And the greens were great. Still a good value play.
Fall golf
Way to many leaves on the course. Secondary ruff so long you lose multiple balls each hole.
Day with my son.
The day was perfect, golfed with my sixteen year old. The course was in good condition, pace was great. Staff was very friendly. Best round for me 85. We will be back soon.
Ripped Off
Paid twice for our round of golf! I gave my confirmation number and young man said that Golf Now didn’t go thru. I believed him and happily paid a reduced fee. Then the charge showed up on my credit card bill! Hoping someone can make this right.
Value...
I have played this course many times over the last several years. This time it was in the worst condition that I can remember. Not sure what is going on but the course was swampy in areas and burnt out in others. Greens were okay. I only paid $16 so the value was good, but I would rather pay more and have the course in much better shape.
getting better
Since new management company took over, they have done a oretty good job getting a disaster playable and enjoyable again
Continues to improve
Fairways and greens are really coming along nicely. Great layout.
Much improved
Fairways and greens coming back nicely. Can’t wait to play it again
Solid place to play.
For $17, I think this is an awesome place to play. Expect average course conditions, with some not-so healthy fairways. But, overall, this course makes for a great day out.
Good food at the bar as well.
Save your time
Spend extra money and play somewhere else . On a 1 to 10 rating the greens were a 4 . The fairways were a 1(all crab grass). The tee boxes a1(again all crab grass) . The rough all crab grass. In fact the whole course was crab grass !
I’ve played this course a couple times and really enjoy it times I go there not crowded and a good course to play
