Hillsborough Country Club

Even though course was a little wet, nice layout and cart path only. The course is very scenic and relaxing. Golfing there is relaxing and enjoyable

This is a short course but the designers of the course made up for the lack of length with lots of unique short par 4's and 3's. The track is cut into the side of a hill making the greens extremely challenging. At times, if you miss the hole even by a foot your putt is running off the green, off the fringe, and back into the rough. It is challenging and fun.

I have played the course twice for $20 and $12. For that amount of money this course is an excellent value. As of now, fall 2017, the course is in great condition. The only downside is that some of the greens get covered by leaves.

Course was in great shape and the people couldn't be me nicer. Can't wait to go back.

Nice corse off the beat path in scenic nashnic NJ. Always able to get tee time as it's not crowded during the week. Only thing I don't like is the no cooler or b.y.o.b. Policy. Buying beer in club house gets expensive..

My first review on Golfnow and hopefully my last. Very good course and interesting holes/layout. Good pace of play. But there was a serious gnat/bug situation. There were GNATS in my face on the tee box. GNATS in the fairways. GNATS in my face on the green. When I went to sleep at night I was seeing GNATS! It's sad because it could have been an enjoyable round without the GNATS. I'm not exaggerating. If you love GNATS and getting eaten alive for 4 hours, this is the course for you.

What this course lacks in yardage, it makes up for in tight fairways, tricky lies, inventive holes and tough greens

Course in great shape. Greens are fast in front nine but slow down on some of the holes in the back nine. Price was good. They have bottles of water in ice chests for the golfers.

This was the first time that i was playing on the course. Accuracy is key on this course, if not you will spend a lot of time searching for your ball. The Greens are fast and difficult to read so be ready for some tough putts. The bunkers need A LOT OF LOVE on the Course, it does not seem that they even bother to rake them each morning.

Considering it was a picture perfect day, Hillsborough Country Club was equally as perfect. The greens were in the best shape I have ever seen. You really get an appeciation of how fun the greens are when you approach the uphill 15th green with the pin placed in the front right and you have to putt 10 feet to the left just to get it close. What a blast!!!

Course in great shape. Not long but you have to be straight. Greens not consistent, some fast and some slow. Overall, would go back.

What a great course with the best people and in NJ that is saying a lot. Hear rumors this hidden gem might be closing soon but I hope that is not the case. This course is always in immaculate condition, and the price is very reasonable. It's a tough little course with some amazing views and we almost never have any backups no matter how busy they are. The drink prices are very affordable and they offer some pre-made wraps and stuff that is just perfect for getting a little something in while you are playing. Pretty sure we are talking with the owner inside the bar area and he couldn't be a nicer guy. The whole place is just top notch and a great place to play. I thought about giving it all negative reviews so I could keep this place to myself but couldn't bring myself to do it.

For the value, this course is great bang for your buck. If you are the average golfer however get ready for some insanely fast greens and ridiculously tight sloping fairways. This course is a great challenge so if you are looking for a relaxing golf outing do not choose here, otherwise definitely worth a shot.
