Hillsborough Country Club
About
Hillsborough Country Club is tucked away amongst the foothills of the Sourland Mountains. The golf course overlooks the beautiful Amwell Valley, sprawling across lush rolling hills gently sprinkled with mature trees. The par-70 layout is player friendly enough for all skill levels, it is even gentle enough for beginners. While it may not be what you're looking for if you want a long and challenging test, it's great for a casual round with a few tricky surprises. Accuracy will be generously rewarded but the golf course isn't overly punishing if you're slightly errant. Golfers will come across a fair amount of strategically placed sand traps as well as the occasional water hazard. In addition to the course, you can get even more short game practice in on Hillsborough Country Club's practice chipping and putting greens and there is also a driving range available.

Nice Course
Great great to be with friends . Course challenges you but is not overly difficult. Staff is courteous and club house a decent place to get a sandwich or hot dog at the turn. We play a couple times a month here and are never disappointed.
This place has really improved over the years..
I've played HCC a few times over the years, but not last couple of years. The quality of the fairways and greens has really taken a significant step forward. Very impressed by how much they have improved the conditions.
The other thing that I will note as improved is the staff and friendliness. The manager did me a real treat the other day letting me and my son go off as a pair since it was our first time out this year.
We'll be back more often.
PS..the views of Amwell Valley remain as beautiful as ever.
Nice course for intermediate golfer or beginner
Good condition short greens great but slow due or rain. Great views if you are a long ball hitter not the course for you. Narrow fairways short holes but great conditions
mountain course
Course is no fair path, no good for beginner.
good for single digit play.
need to adjust stand and angle.
Golf now booking.
Staff and other players were extremely friendly and held a perfect pace. Had a great day on the course!
Fine golf course
Excellent golf course. Great layout, tight but fair. Golf course is in great shape for so early in the season. Greens and tee boxes are being airated, in preparation for the season.
Don't play after heavy rains. We played a day after, and fairways were just pooled water. Mud everywhere. Difficult course to keep carts on paths after rain. A lot of walking up and down hills. When dry, nice course.
Quick and painless
Course is in better shape then years prior
