About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

Good Course
Played with a friend who said the course used to be in rough conditions a couple years back but has improved. I was happy to see the conditions of the greens and most of the fairways. Some fairways under repair. I understand it may have not rained enough recently but having sprinklers on in the middle of two of the fairways during our round wasn’t ideal. All in all I would play here again for sure.

Short track but fun
None of the holes are the distance they say - many are much shorter. For example, I had 100 yards in on a par 5 that was over 500 yards. But, the greens protect that decently well. The greens are slow but in good shape. Have fun with it, great value course and an easy drive.

Bunkers
Course was in nice shape except for the bunkers, they were hard rocky dirt “ not sand” Stay out of the bunkers and you will enjoy your round.

Great for early AM rounds
Meadows is perfect as they have early summer tee times, I just wish the course was rated properly, the posted yardages are about 800 yards off from the actual white markers (as of 6/21.)

Once again, miserable.
I’ve been playing this course for a number of years now and this was the last time for me. Routinely, it’s 5 plus hour rounds and it’s completely miserable waiting on every single shot all day. It’s not fun at all. I played this course for two reasons…always able to get a tee time (for obvious reasons) and price. A few years back I think new ownership took over and jacked up the price. Not sure how they justify charging 60 dollars to play this course. I know what I say won’t matter because you will always get people to play there because you can always get a tee time and that’s fine. I play this past weekend and after 13 holes I grabbed my bag and walked off the course because it was miserable. The group in front of us took two shots each at least 3 or 4 times. I counted at least two 5somes. There’s zero organization with the players that are out on the course. I get that it’s a good beginner course and most players have absolutely no clue what they are doing but they should be ushered along with a ranger or someone just driving around checking up on things for when they are clearly taking a ridiculous amount of time. By the time we finished hole 11 and just standing there watching the group in front of us tee off a million times on 12, the entire hole was open and on 13 (par 5) the next group was on the green already. So, nearly two holes completely open. This is exactly what this course is known for and it’s a disaster. Even just to have one guy out there driving around would do wonders. Golfers should be told approximately how long a round should take and where they should be on the course at a specific time during the round. I completely understand a little back up here and there but to constantly play 5 plus hour rounds on the weekend it’s awful. Plus, this course is completely on top of each other so with having all these beginners out there they should at least know when to say fore. We got hit up on 3 times in the 12 holes I played. This is how people get very upset and escalates very fast. Good luck in the future but I won’t be back.

This course needs ALOT of work
This is a. Very poor golf course. Course needs alot of work done and it seems like nothing ever gets done. Hole layouts are very confusing in particular hole #3.
Very little room in fairways if you want to call them fairways. I’ve played well over 20 rounds there because of price but now I wouldn’t even play there for free
