About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

Solid Track
Course is in good condition, but the tee boxes and some fairways could use a little help. Overall a good course for a relaxing round. Pace was good, staff were beyond friendly and accommodating, and the course is a good test for the average golfer.

The fairways and teeboxes are so poorly maintained that the course is unplayable. Don't bother counting toward your handicap. If this is your only option then just go hit balls at the range.

Fairway needs to be watered and maintained
The course setting and greens are playable. However, the fairway and tee box needs much attention. I hope the management puts more attention on the teebox and fairway.

Short track
Great practice course- awesome for the price. Always can get on. Few of the longer holes are as long as they say - all par 5 reachable in two for above average golfer. Greens are a bit slow but consistent.

Much Better
Played here regularly some 15 years ago. Today the greens are in very good shape as well as most of the fairways. You can see new ownership has turned this place around. Worth the trip to play.

Slow Play but Nice Greens
Crowded with no ranger in sight to help things move ... beat up course but the greens were excellent! Because of that I will play again

Fairways & tees bad ….
The tee boxes were in horrible condition as were the fairways . Thank goodness the greens were in excellent shape .

Short interesting course in fair condition
Considering the lack of rain and extreme heat, i can understand the burnt out grass. The Blue tee boxes are horrible and may require 3 or 4 tries to stick your tee in, let alone find a level, grass covered section. Gnats are everywhere and bug spray does not help. Course is very short, so the use of water, dog legs, and other hazards makes for an interesting, quirky layout with tons of scoring possibility. Pace of play avg. Greens were insanely slow (cut long) on the front 8, but got a little better in the back (some tee boxes also better in the back). Some bunkers hard, some muddy, some were just OK. While I don't intend on revisiting any time soon, I would still recommend this course for the weekend hacker who won't be limited by course length. Diverse fauna...beautiful birds abound.

Good Value and better than it used to be
I used to play the Meadows many years ago before I moved out of the area. I am back visiting for the summer and was very pleasantly surprised by how much the course has improved. We played as a twosome early on a very hot weekday morning. Played the front nine behind a foursome in two hours. They let us play through on #10 and we played the back 9 is less than 80 minutes. The course was in very good condition. There are marshy areas in play as hazards on several holes and several holes are tight, but if you can hit straight tee shots you'll be okay. We really enjoyed the round and it was a very good value.
