Meadows Golf Club
About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

Course cinditions
Plenty of tee boxes were just dirt and many were uneven. Some fairways were dried out. Many sand traps not raked at all, and uneven.
Meadows Golf Club
Ownership has improved conditions over the past several years. Greens were in excellent condition and rerouting on front 9 will enhance pace of play. This course is a very good value in the N.E. NJ area.
Meadows - 2025 Experience
It was our first 2025 experience at Meadows and it was our best ever since we started playing at Meadows over the last few years. The entire course has been refreshed and is well maintained. Course layout has also been reconfigured. Staff was very friendly. We would not hesitate to play there again.
Glacially slow
Once again, was stuck behind an outing of some sort. Left after 5 hours elapsed on the 17th tee box. Never saw a ranger
Solid value
With Meadows, what you see is what you get: a solid round for a reasonable price. The greens were in great shape, but much of the rest of the course was between overgrown and underseeded. Many tee boxes showed wear and sparse grass, and the fairways had little to distinguish them from rough. However, the routing is interesting, water forces risk / reward shots on many holes and the course is a fair test for the average golfer. Adjoining holes provides bailout options at the risk of other golfers, but if you need a tee time for a nearby course, Meadows is for you.
Fore!
Strange layout, made more confusing with recent changes on the first nine.
Ball flying all over from adjacent holes. Greens were slow and bunkers had no sand.
Nice Round
Had a nice round there Yesterday, the pace of play was pretty good for a Sunday morning. 4 hours and 10 minutes.
For those of you who like to walk, bring a lot of water, there is none on the course. Also, there is only on bench on the course. It is very walkable though.
Great staff decent course, layout not great.
In my opinion the course is too cramped. Fairways are too narrow and no separation to divide the fairways. I think for the ability level of the average player here there needs to be woods in between the fairways at the least. They are So narrow that on many hole you are risking injury form errant shots coming towards your hole, not the par 3’s, but you have players from neighboring holes playing off your fairway- often times players from 2 holes playing off your fairways OFTEN hitting right at you. Too dangerous. When players don’t know, they lack the ability level and instead of just picking up their ball or just hitting it directly back onto their fairway, they’re trying to Jordan Spieth the ball thinking they’re still gonna get on in two strokes but now they’ve just hit it further down the wrong fairway directly towards us where we’re waiting for them to hit so we can play our second shot. Happened on numerous holes. On the first hole a par 5 after our drives we went down to our balls. At that time we were in the line of fire of players playing off our fairway to their green- players behind them from that same hole teeing off if our direction also and players from another tee box teeing off right into us. We were in the line of fire of not 2 but 3 foursomes. Trying to keep track of 12 players, and their balls was too tall in order. And for $75 around that that’s about double with this course is worth. I would say that the staff is about the best I’ve ever encountered, but that’s not enough for me to come back. It’s too dangerous. And that’s just the first hole. For the rest of the day you have weekend warriors hitting into your fairway on many more holes. Maybe not all but far too many. If there were some type of woods enclosing the fairways I think you would still have the issues but much less.
