Meadows Golf Club

About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

Overall
Good layout was very wet in areas need to raise the course up about 2 feet away from the standing water way to many wet areas . Greens where good , tees boxes need some work again raise them up out of the water . And the bunkers not great rock hard . Needs more TLC the course but would play it again liked the layout and some rally nice holes .
Nice course
Place looks good. Def knocked some trees down and looked good.
Uuuhhh
What just happened….. 11:20 tee time already behind. U don’t lose balls here, they get stolen. That’s what happens when u hit a good drive. It seemed to be busy for a random Tuesday.
I occ come here bc tee time availability is good and the players aren’t scratch players so takes some pressure off. Bartender made me a couple good drinks!
Awful
Wow. Where do I even begin? If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to tee off from a mud pit and play 18 holes in a swamp, look no further. The tee boxes? Just mud. The fairways? Wet, messy, and barely playable. And yes, they’re actually charging over $80 for this privilege. Incredible.
As a bonus, I figured I’d grab a drink at the clubhouse to salvage the experience—only to be served a beer so flat it could’ve doubled as tap water. Impressive.
All in all, it was a masterclass in how not to run a golf course. I won’t be back, but hey—best of luck to anyone who thinks this is worth their time or money.
Good value.
Course was in good shape given the amount of rain we've had. Staff is awesome. Not a long course but a good course to play.
New Layout
The new course layout works very well, but the course itself definitely needs a little more work on some of the fairways and it seems like the greens need to either be aerated because there’s no bite. There’s no grip the ball hits it and just keeps on going, but overall, Meadows is a great course for the value.
Terrible course condition
First, making reservation was difficult, I had to call course directly because senior rate not shown online. Second, meadows website shows $40 as senior riding rate, but they charged $45.
Greens in terrible shape as they had not recovered from last year's aeration. Fairways lacked grass, like hitting off packed mud, Tee boxes absolutely horrible! huge holes/divots? everywhere, it was hard to find a place where your feet were not partially in a hole.
16 hole course
Got to the course and they informed me that two holes were closed that day so they could pave the cart paths. They were giving discounts to people although since I already had a Golf Now discount and prepaid, I wouldn’t get one.
16 holes took 4 hours 10 minutes to play, waited almost every hole.
