About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

Meadows
Can’t beat some of the prices you’re able to get here to play a full 18. With that being said, unless you’re an early bird and book a sunrise tee time expect the pace of play to be super slow mid day as it always seems to feel overbooked. Tee boxes could surely use some serious work as well. Never fun having to hammer in your tee on an uneven plane to hit a drive.

OVERVIEW AFTER 7 ROUNDS & LOOSING PATIENCE
We really like the course however the more we play we see the problems. Overall the course is just wet and difficult to putt on in early morning because the cut grass just sticks to your ball. The rough is just ridiculous and too long and again soaking wet so if you’re out of position you’re screwed even though I shot a 79. We shoot from the tips and the t-box poor conditions reflect that many players don’t or else they wouldn’t look like a bare playground in a school yard. There is one par 4 tbox that is dangerous that is in line with a par 3 tbox from hackers teeing off.
Pace of play is ridiculous and un-managed. Two groups ahead today held up everyone. 4 player’s and 4 carts! There needs to be a Marshal on the course at all times!

Solid courae
Meadows is a very fun course and can be challenging at times. New ownership has done a great job to upgrade the fairways and greens and improvement is definitely seen. It’s one of the best values for sure in the area and the staff are always welcoming and friendly.

First time, last time.
My buddy and I golf once a week and like to go out, enjoy a nice round, and shoot well. We normally play at mid tier courses such as Pinch Brook, Berkshire Valley, Farmstead, Great Gorge, among others. Today, we decided to try out Meadows as a new course considering it’s decently close to home for us both but let me tell you.. I nor my buddy will ever come back. I saw bunches of mixed reviews on this place and seeing the positive ones is absolutely hard to fathom with the condition the course was in.. Fairways are more like lawns with the length of grass and have large amounts of dry patches that are sandy or just pure dirt.. carts are old and beat up, greens are not taken care of (partly due to other golfers not fixing ball marks/divots), the tee boxes are uneven from marker to marker (rock hard, can’t put a tee in the ground, also horribly maintained), cart paths are destroyed; everything’s wrong with the course in all honesty…. The ownership at Meadows needs to invest a ton of time and money into totally revamping it all; literally the worst course I have ever played and truthfully… it was a complete and utter waste of $40. You can play at a variety of different courses in the surrounding area for a smidge more than $40 and play on a course that’s actually maintained, has legitimate fairways, greens that roll true, are clean and not littered with divot marks. Either shack up and call it quits or fix your course, Meadows.

not taken care of
7am tee time Saturday, tee box ground so hard can’t get tee in ground, fairways like war zone. very slow pace, seemed most golfers were there to party and not to golf. Better wear a helmet, almost hit by errand balls a dozen times with no one yelling “fore”.

This place is a joke
Don’t waste your money there other nice courses in the area. Tea boxes in fairways are horrible. Teenage kids running the pro shop.
