About
Meadows Golf Club in Lincoln Park offers a casual and enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. For more of a challenge, golfers can try the blue tees while the white and the red tees are more forgiving of errant shots. The course sprawls across mostly flat terrain but there are a few subtly elevated greens to contend with. The layout is situated amidst native wetlands, which come into play on many of the holes. The back nine is more challenging than the front, with the toughest hole being the par-5 13th. At 455 yards, it's not a long hole but there are two large fairway bunkers and an elevated green that is surrounded by even more sand. The best view on the golf course can also be enjoyed from the middle of the green on this hole.

The Cow pasture
I'm sorry but this place is a Cow pasture and you become target practice for other golfers as the holes are all jammed up against one another. The signage is poor on a few so we missed a couple of holes because we couldn't find them. There isn't a starter so it is a free for all and no ranger on the course. Play is very slow so I don't think I will ever go back. Only went because friend pushed me to play as he was able to get a special including a cart for $30. I am surprised this place is in business but caters to the beginners and those who are looking to pay $40 or less including a cart.

Better than staying home
I loved the greens and it ends there. I played this course several years ago and it wasn't like it is now. They must have rearranged some of the hole directions for whatever reasons but it does cause conflict with cross paterns. You have to be careful. Its confusing if you aren't familiar with it. This course is best played when not crowded. I guess weekdays would be best. Not the worst place in the world. Its still better than staying home.

Needs Work
The course has gone into disarray. Tees & fairways are terrible. This was always a great layout. Needs a total redo. Greens are also very much in needed of care. All the tee boxes have weeds or are bare. Fairways are the Same.

Don’t bother
This course was an absolute disappointment. Teebox is terrible there were no fairways it was all beat up with ruts. Greens were in very good shape. Would recommend this to anybody

Terrible COurse
The tees, green and fairways were all beat up. Horrible conditions. I played years ago and heard they improved it. They did not.
I would only play this course again if it were the only place I could get a tee time, and then I would think about it

Worst course I’ve ever played
55 dollars to play this course is an absolute joke. Greens might as well be concrete. Fairways are filled with desert patches.

Solid Course
It’s a nice course, depending on the day it can be slow. Always some kind of construction going on and some of the tee boxes get moved around. But it’s usually in good shape and not very hard.

Decent layout, poorly kept
Layout was fun. Speedy play for a muni. In pretty poor shape however, tee boxes overgrown and patchy greens. Fine for a low key, quick round.

Don’t expect much
While it is a fun and challenging layout. The course conditions are horrific. Ball divers everywhere and barely any grass on the fairways. Greens were like cement. Staff was friendly. But during the pandemic not allowing coolers is flat out ridiculous.

Hot day
The Meadows is a good short course that makes you use all of your clubs. The greens rolled nice and were overall in pretty good shape. Other than the excessive heat it was a good round.

Nice value course
Nice course. Great value. Staff in clubhouse and kitchen are very personable and friendly. I play here frequently when I can't get a last minute tee time anywhere and always enjoy it. New owner has done a great job getting it cleaned up!
