Top Notch Public Course in South Jersey
Since moving back to the area, Golden Pheasant has been my go-to course that never disappoints and challenges all parts of your golf game. You know you play there a lot when their staff recognize you and suggest purchasing their Triple Play Package [reduced rack rate yearly membership], which also includes The Links Golf Club and Rancocas Golf Club.
For a public course, prices are reasonable, and the overall layout/conditions are excellent. Brian and his team have invested quite a bit to improve/maintain and it clearly shows. When playing here (for the most part) I haven't had to deal with many pace of play issues. All staff members are polite, friendly, and will answer any questions that you may have. Depending on other groups skill levels, you may encounter some balls/carts on your fairway, especially on 4, 5, and 6 compared to the Back 9 where it's a bit more secluded and not as close to one another. Not a huge deal but worth mentioning to stay alert.
Golden Pheasant holds a fair amount of community outings during the 12-month span. My father, brother, and I make it a tradition to play 1-2 outings a year and always have a great time. Outing prices are reasonable and the provided BBQ lunch, drinks, and atmosphere is top tier.
They have a putting green in front of their clubhouse as well as a chipping green next to Hole 9. Their driving range is not your typical range as you are hitting off mats inside a large extended netting as opposed to distance targets but it's perfect for dusting off any rust or loosening up before your round.
Whether it's your first time, haven't played here in a while, or looking to routinely play at a quality 18-hole establishment, look no further than Golden Pheasant.

Great Place to Play
Course was in fantastic shape given how late in the season it is, would have expected this level of quality in the Spring. Tee boxes, fairways were great shape and greens were absolutely fantastic, Blew the entire course of leaves in the morning and they were never a bother.

Very Nice Course
Great course for the price. Very nice course overall. Tee boxes, fairways, greens and cart paths all in great shape. Course layout was very nice also. Friendly Staff

Fall outing
Drizzle at beginning of the outing - then cleared up, windy throughout the outing .
Condition of course was great, pace was up and down with the tournament, people were eager to get through it to watch the Phillies game
Food was good for the start and lunch but disappointed no carts came around throughout the tournament
All in all a good value for the $$ and would definitely play it again and recommend it

Very nice golf course
I'm very impressed how nice the golf course is I played couple times before but nothing special until now with all the new improvements I was blown away nice rolling green nice fairways very friendly staff, can't wait to play there again

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BY THE STARTER
-We are playing as three some and 1 of the cart battery died when we were at Hole 7.
-We don’t want to hold the group behind us (we were 1 hole agead of them) so my friend just walk and carry his bag while waiting for the cart.
-The starter came with a new cart , first thing he said was “FOR FUTURE REFERENCE IF THE CART DIED STAY IN YOUR CART”
We were like what the heck , no apologies for the inconvenience for the cart and he was mad because we kept going.
-THEN WE SAW HIM AT THE TURN , WE WENT TO THE RESTROOM , THEN WHEN HE WALKEP UO TO HIM AND SAID “THE GROUP BEHIND YOU IS ALREADY AT THE GREENS, PICK UP YOUR FACE”
-I TOLD HIM WE WERE AHEAD OF PACE BUT YOU KNOW OUR CART DIED SMH.
WE WILL NOT GO BACK TO PLAY HERE!

Bring a few extra balls
It was a fun day except for not hitting my balls as straight as I hoped ( lost a few either in the thick rough or in the woods once in the water, possibly under the fall foliage ) But I did find some. Careful there is poison ivy in the woods

Challenging back 9
Played here for the 1st time after hearing about it for awhile. I'm a 20 handicap so I'm learning. It's a very nice course, well maintained and a good value for money. The front 9 was pretty wide open but long, very fun. The back 9 IMO is deceptively challenging, we had a few holes that ruined our score.
