Everything about the experience was very good. Even though it was very busy the pace was good. I would recommend this course to anybody
Saturday at Golden Pheasant
Staff were pleasant and friendly off the start. There were some worn areas on the fairways as well as some soft areas around the greens. The rough was a little higher today, so finding your ball was a chore. This isn’t Winged Foot.
I still believe 16th tee for all but the Blue Tees would be better if It were to the right off the cart path from the Par 3, 15th. Us old guys like a simpler play this late in the round.
Food and drink was awesome as always.

Great Staff & Great Course
Staff was super friendly, they had the grill set up and had a great variety of alcoholic beverages for sale. Course was challenging but extremely enjoyable. Best course I have played this season in NJ. I will definitely recommend and return to play again soon!

Overpriced
Played here many times
Feel like 52 dollars for afternoon tee time is too much sorry
Conditions were ok for the greens ,not so much for fairways etc

Course in good condition.
Pace of play was average, but not so slow as to impede your momentum.

Tee boxes where not in good shape. Most of the rough was over the top of your shoes. A lot of crabgrass and fairways where mess up

BLIND SHOTS
Course in good shape ,problem is blind shots on too many holes,We hit what we thought were many good tee shots only to have lost balls. Staff are nice people. My partner who is an excellent golfer was disgusted looking for balls he lost after good drives.
Excellent staff, super friendly and polite
Greens rolling nice, no issues there, they are true and speed on green was good not too but good enough to make us happy, fairways and tee boxes are un good shape, overall course is in great shape would recommend playing it, if u never been there, great course and staff was polite, friendly and courteous, well done Golden Pheasant

Special Place in SJ
Who knew southern NJ had hills and valleys? This course surprised me with its multiple elevation changes and cliff hangers. The 8th is a canyon shot (thankfully the hole is at the bottom)! The blind uphill shots are exciting too, especially when you see what you have left after successfully placing your ball at the top of the hill.
