Almost unplayable
This course was horrible. There were divots all along the course, and the rough was overgrown. The cart path was basically undrivable for the majority of the course as it was incredibly bumpy and uneven. My bag actually fell out of my cart even though it was strapped in tight. The staff was relatively friendly although they had me start at the 4th hole and stuck me behind a very, very slow foursome. There were no rangers to manage the pace of play either so I had to go around them. Overall, just a horrible experience and I will not go back nor do I recommend playing there.
Terrible conditions
Definitely not worth the $60 fee to play this course. Took 5 hours to compete our round. No rangers on course checking pace of play. Course was in terrible condition, including the cart paths, burnt out fairways, poor drainage leading to many wet areas and extremely high, uncut roughs. Course is in need of major repair and maintenance.
going downhill fast
Play here a lot and right after the Covid break the course was in the best shape I’d ever seen it - was really in terrible condition this last time - thank goodness a lot of my friends didn’t get out on the course, as I was recently saying how great it was - very disappointed

8/1/2020 round
Course was not maintained and it showed. Hornets nests growing on the fairway, huge patches of ground everywhere. Disappointed in the conditions.
Always good
overall good. Sand was in nice shape. There were some bare and mud areas on some of the fairways. Overall was in good shape. Greens were nice.

Great course, but too slow of a pace
Great course that is kept in great condition. I had a great time golfing with my father but the speed of play was extremely slow due to the beginner foursome in front of that lacked golf etiquette.

Not bad wouldn’t spend over 50$ Though
Course was ok nothing crazy. Good for average golfers. Does the job can’t complain not gonna tell my kids about it that’s for sure.

Old School in the BEST Sense!
I played here with my son visiting and we had a wonderful experience. From the time we arrived with being greeted and treated well in the pro shop until the time we left after having some amazing vegan hot dogs from the friendliest staff you'll ever meet... This was a special time for me and my son... The greens were in really really good shape and each hole of was unique and lots of fun! Great time...Thanks, Golden Pheasant!

Very wet!
I played last week here, an course was if really good shape. This week we had some hard downpours though out the week an the course looked like trucks when muddy through it. Giant cart marks everywhere. It looked like there were not cart restrictions in the wet conditions all week, which is a shame cause it was really nice last week, plus that place really never drains good in my opinion, but I will always come back it's one of my favorite courses to play.
