Value.
Condition of course is fair at best, staff isn't the friendliest but it's fine because the price is right. They actually have sand in their bunkers, first time in years.
Bad quality
Tee off and greens are very close together. Fairways also very close together. Golfers there were playing fast pace. I like to relax and play but they were going very fast
Nice Little Course
I did not like that I paid a fee to Golfnow.com to book my tee time and the course never knew I was coming. Had there been others there, this would have been a problem. I would like my booking fee refunded to my credit card as I did not get what I paid for.
The course was a nice little course. Challenging enough for a duffer like me but still fun. The tee boxes need improvement. The greens were fine. I would play there again.
good practice
Nice place to practice a round with the short iron shots. A little bit short on length but nice greens that can test you. Tee box's could use a little attention but fairways were just fine. I would play again and think that the price was a good deal.
Good value
Played as a single at 8:30am. Seems like course maintenance is done during the day and fairways are not mowed until later in the day. Greens are in decent shape but previous players do not repair balls marks. Will play again if I can get $25 green fee.
Springfield
Course was in nice shape, greens where smooth Tough drive on #11 and 14 from back tees
No Fairway, poorly Manicured
just and overall bad experience, 1st and last.....
Beginner's Gold
This is probably the best layout in the area for a beginning golfer. It was my first round of golf many years ago and every few years I go back just for the nostalgia...
The course itself is usually in pretty good shape and was for this round. There are a few low lying areas that can be muddy so watch your step. I walked the front 9 in one hour flat and paired up with a single for the back 9 which slowed me down to an hour and a half...
Great fun for the whole family as they say! Driving range, par 3 chip & putt course, and a mini putt-putt. It's not Whistling Straights, just relax and have fun with it!
Disappointed
The course is nice and the greens were in good condition. I was disappointed because holes 11 thru 16 were closed. I'm guessing closed due to the rain showers earlier in the week but the cashier in the pro shop didn't say one word to me about the situation with the back nine!!!! Found out by other golfers!!! Not cool.
About as I remember
I used to play this course 20 years ago before I went away to college and it was a decent starter course if you were a beginner or were just looking to play a cheap course. Fairways were ehhh, ok. Greens were ehhh, ok. But for $25 or whatever it was back then it was worth it. Now 20 years later, new owners, etc not much, if anything, has changed. Course is exactly the same except they made the old front 9 the back 9 and the old back 9 the front 9. Sand is still like concrete if there is sand in the traps at all. Greens were actually better than I remember so that was a plus. Play was a little slow because there was no starter to spread people out. Granted I was by myself but still. A few holes were in rough shape and were completely closed so I just played the front 9 twice. I would not recommend playing this course unless you were able to get a discounted rate. I paid less than $25 thru golfnow.com so it was like old times. But other than that, pay more to play a good course. It will be worth it.
Dreadful Condition
Tee boxes and fairways are dead grass. I know they re-seeded them last year during the summer but nothing grew back. If they warned me about it I would have played somewhere else.
Great corse
Great fun corse with friendly people and staff. This golf center has very nice practice area variety. Cool place to improve your game.
Springfield
Course is short and fairly straight and flat fairways but great place for locals to get in some practice.
Good course... for the money
I mean I paid 12$ per golfer with a cart (thanks golfnow) and brought my girlfriend along, so I can't complain. It is definitely not Augusta but its a golf course. Worked my 4 iron and wedges and felt like I got back into my groove for the season. Great time. Will play again.,
Edisonman
This is not a golf course. You need to clean clubs, shores and cloth right after play. Mud make verything stinky. Verything is terrible overthere.
Worse Course Ever Played On
This was the Worse Golf Course I ever Played on. The Tee Blocks were in Terrible Shape. The Ground was so hard, that you could not even put your Tee in the Ground. You was forced to just use your Irons to hit from the Tee Holes. Also the Golf Course is very Small, and the Fairways are in Terrible shape. There are holes all in the Fairways, The Greens are bad and also fulled with Dents. The Bunkers are a Joke. They are not even really Bunkers, they are small holes with a little sand in them. This Place is really made for Beginners, because the Course is so short. Also you will get lost on the Golf Course because there is hardly any Directions telling you what hole direction you are suppose to go to. Hole 14 was even missing the Sign that says Hole 14. To Call this Place a Golf Course is really a Joke. Like I said. This is the Worse Golf Course I ever Played on. I would only recommend this course to beginners.
I would Not recommend this place to anyone with skill or who is looking for a nice Golf Course to Play on.
Good course
Tee boxes under repair when we played. Some holes were shorter than normal, which isn't a bad thing. Great deal on golfnow, well worth it.
Great for a weekday round
I had never heard of this course, but I was happy to have found it. There is more then just 18 holes here, pitch and put, driving range and mini-golf. You can tell that it's the end of the season because the course itself looked like it was being torn apart in some areas. But I would assume that in the middle of the summer it's pretty much your basic public course. My only issue was when I hit the ball into the traps, there was no sand (I hit a lot of bunkers) and all the sand was piled up. But, it was a good afternoon.
great course to work on mid range irons
the greens were in great shape the fairways very nice course layout nice staff very nice
The opportunity to play in less then 4 hrs... on a well maintained course... in a friendly environment... Priceless!
Very friendly staff and fellow patrons!
Well maintained course.
Wide fairways... a must for mid level golfers who slice.
