First time playing
We had a great time playing. Course was fun to pla. Carts were in good condition. Layout was a bit confusing but we found our way. Be careful if your ball goes into the woods. There are tons of pricker and thorn bushes.
Good the price
I recently found this course and have played it a few times. I like it as a quick and inexpensive mid week round. The summer has killed the fairways and rough but the green are in decent shape. The course is short and flat and pretty forgiving on poor shots. Shot a 5 over par so I can’t complain.
Couldn’t cancel 2 some
I wasn’t allowed to cancel a two some that couldn’t make the tee time and was forced to pay the full greens fees
Course layout
If you’re a hack golfer this place is perfect for you. It felt like I was playing on war field with all the balls flying at me constantly. Every hole you gotta keep your head on a swivel as the course layout is so bad that you are always in the way of another fairway. With the hacks playing here you get a lot of people missing fairways so it then becomes a hazard. Again if your a hack great place for you, if you want to play golf without worrying about getting hit by a ball, not for you.
Great Value
It is a solid public course. We were only playing 9 with a cart - they got us off on back nice and we played in an hour 15 - perfect for y son and I. Love it!

Wouldn’t play here for free
Horrible green conditions, overcrowded, other golfers there had no etiquette. Bad place to play. Would not play this course again for free
Nice Upgrades
They have done a lot of work since our last visit aprox 1 year ago. All redone tee boxes. Replaced fences. New drainage put in so the course isn't muddy. We really enjoyed it and appreciate the upgrades. We'll be back!!
Go for beginners
Nice place to learn and practice. Short course and it looks like there’s improvements on it’s way!
Great place for learning and practicing.
For the novice golfers, and working on your game, and those that want to play and not pay "golf prices" its a great place to get around in. It is open enough to work on correcting your faults and with enough challenge to better your game..
Good to get out course
Springfield is a good to get out course at a fair price. They are starting an upgrade for 2024 and this should make the course much better.
