This time of year place is in good shape
We enjoyed our round
Interesting that there was no starter no any ranger on the course. We played and enjoyed our round.
Course condition
The course was in horrible condition. The tee boxes were all closed and you had to tee off in grass and mud in front of them. Was way overcrowded and muddy with water on fairways. Some fairways should have been closed. Course was not worth the money especially since nearby courses are about the same cost and in much better condition with more amendities.
Dogtrack
Actual track that is super easy, except for putting. The tips here are around 5800. I am a 9 handicap and I shot my PB even par, I played ok and didn’t even putt well on poorly maintained greens.
Nice round.
Play 18 holes in 4:30 on a Sunday.… Not bad. Of course we had a guy in front of us who wouldn’t even approach his ball until all the others in his group had hit, then he took 8–9 practice swings before hitting it 30 yards. On the green,he had to pull the pin and wait for everyone else to hole out before he 4 putted. We really have to find a way to educate players to simply hit your ball, go up to your ball and hit your ball, go up to your ball and hit your ball, and cut out all the other crap.
tee boxes
Many tee boxes were in poor shape and the blues, whites and yellow tees were ridiculously close together. A 70-year-old man has no advantage hitting from the yellow tees 5 yards in front of a 20 something hitting from the whites. Gimme a break. Fairways had a lot of dead areas somewhat excusable after the summer we have had.
