Weequahic Park Golf Course

The staff and specifically the manager were amazing. Super friendly, and didn’t take any BS when some bad people tried to take over the course!

Had another great day at Weequahic GC. Ever since the renovations a few years ago the course has been great.

Staff are also great. I mistakenly made a tee time for the day before. Showed up at the course thinking I was ready to go only to be told I was a day late (smh). After a quick chat they were able to squeeze us in and the starter made sure we got out and it didn’t impact the pace of play at all.

This course has it all, fair layout that isn’t too long but has a lot elevation change as well as plants of doglegs. The greens hold the ball just fine and roll well for a muni course. Oh and the price is right! I play here like 20-25 times a year.

I played 12 hours after a heavy rainstorm so the course was wet, but the fairways, bunkers, and greens were fine. Low-lying areas had some standing water. Winter tees were being used so some holes had tees on quite a slope. Very walkable and beginner/senior friendly. Greens rolled true. Will definitely go back later this year.

this is a great course that Ive never heard of until recently stumbling upon it. Not the longest course if you're a big hitter but its set up to make you have to hit your targets for your approach shot. The greens today were a bit slow but some of the holes were placed in some tough spots due to the slope of the greens. Most of the greens are fairly small so being accurate with your distance is a must. Fairly easy course to walk with the exception of about two-three uphill holes. I am definitely looking forward to playing this course during the warmer months. Todays pace was a little over 3 hours but it was pretty empty so not sure what a "normal"' round looks like. We were pleasantly surprised by the conditions and layout of this course. Great find and worth playing here.

First time I ever played here, but really enjoyed it. It is shorter than most, but narrow with small undulating greens. So you need your whole game to be on to score well. Considering all the snow melt recently, the course was completely dry and greens in good shape. Would play here again.

My husband and I have played this course for about 8 years, and it has become our favorite though there are other county courses closer to us. The remodeling of one troublesome hole and the parking lot/putting green along with constant maintenance like tree-trimming and turf repair have made it a pleasure to play. The layout is tight, but It is inexpensive and the staff are wonderful. If you play often, you feel like you become part of the community. Ground-breaking African American golf pro Wiley Williams still works there; if you are lucky, he will share some stories.
