Great course. Rude staff
Course was in great condition. I called in to check if the course was playable due to a flood in my area. The guy who answered the phone, Quintin, was extremely rude and condescending. He told me 5 times I wasn’t on the tee sheet yet he was on the wrong date. His response to my asking if the course was playable due to flooding question was “it’s wet. I don’t get your question.” Which he said with an attitude.
Everyone else was nice though and the course was great. They just need to get someone more friendly and competent on the phones.

A tough muni that use to be easrier
If you don’t play it regularly it ain’t easy. This course use to have a slope of 112...23 years ago. At a slope rating of 126 today it plays 3-4 shots more difficult than it once did.
Expect a slope of 130 over the coming years as the township bylaws do not let profits to taken from the course. It has to be re-invested into the facility!
Same holds true at Marlton’s Indian Springs. The same type of bylaws. Ever increasing difficulty at the same yardage.
Pitman is the only muni that’s kept the slope rating the same or close to what’s its been.
I’m not all in on the ever increasing muni golf course difficulty!
First Timer Looking to Go Back
Late tee time on a 95 degree day. Loved the course. Looking to get get soon.
Solid Course
For a public course, this is a gem in SJ. Greens were immaculate! is perfect for 15 handicappers like myself.
Good Condition
The course is in really good condition, especially the greens. Greens are smooth and fast.
Pace of play was really slow, close to 5 hour round.
I wish they had a driving range or at least a place to hit balls into a net to warm up before playing. Takes several holes for me to warm up without hitting first.
