Course Highlights
Pennsauken's 27-hole layout impresses with well-maintained fairways, challenging sloped greens, and course conditions that consistently outshine many local alternatives. Helpful staff, reasonable pricing, and reliable pace of play make this a strong value for regular rounds.

Starter

Starter is rude and has no clue what he's doing. Which makes the pace of play unbearable. The management seems to be afraid of him. Decent course being poorly managed. Don't waste your time, plenty of better options in the area

No standards for time of play

Crowded Sunday afternoon and the starter allows 4 golfers with three bags. When they get complaints they take s fourth set of clubs out. But by this time 2 players have moved on so they now have 2 twosomes on the course. Total lack of management

Great public course close to Center City

Course is in excellent shape this year and is well maintained by players and staff. It's best to go out early on weekends to avoid slower play. There are two particularly challenging holes on the front. Number 4 is a long(ish) par 4 with an uphill tee shot leading to a blind second shot into a small green surrounded by traps. The other par 4s (and one par 5) are fairly straightforward but do require accurate tee shots since fairways are narrow. Number 7 is a long par 3 (230 from whites) and it is best to come up short and in the fairway than miss wide or long. The back is a bit more difficult and laid out much differently than the front. Keep the driver in the bag for holes 12 and 13 if you want to make birdie (or even par). The greens for 13-15 are very sloped and it's best to be below the hole. Holes 17 and 18 have a large water hazard to the right so it's best to draw or keep straight from the tee. Overall, this is a great public course to play regularly without breaking the bank which also has a very good bar/restaurant.

South Jersey Gem

Pennsauken is one of the nicest courses in Southern New Jersey. It's well maintained, great staff, greet food, and great value. My son and I go once a week to chip and putt and I make every effort to play at least 9 holes there every week.

Always heard good things about PCC and this was my first time there. It is a really good course. Played 18 holes in little over 4 hrs. Friendly people (yes even for Pennsauken). Recommend this course for a good time. Have fun.
