About
Nestled in the hills of Scotts Mountain, Harkers Hollow Golf Club was carved from a sloping hillside, giving it a challenging terrain with plenty of elevation changes. Opened in 1929, the golf course has a classic layout designed by Robert White, the first president of the PGA of America. Although it is a seemingly mild 6,551 yards from the back tees, the course plays much longer and harder thanks to the undulating terrain. The layout does offer a few lengthy holes as well as some interesting par 3s. The greens are small and fast with breaks ranging from subtle to dramatic. There is hardly any water but the Lopatcong Creek does run the entire length of the golf course and requires the occasional carry. The par-3 fifth hole is the club's signature. It is particularly notable for its scenery, which is why it has served as the backdrop for many weddings.

Played front 9 twice
They were aerating the back. Tee Off deal for 35 and a coupon code for 5. Greens were excellent. Fairways and bunkers fair
Fun course to play with ongoing improvements
1st time playing here. Good layout with elevation changes. Greens were very nice. Not fast but uniform and well manicured. Tee boxes and fairways were good. Very playable.
They are working on the course and the improvements are obvious. Good bar restaurant area for a bite to eat.
Staff was friendly in pro shop and the restaurant.

practice
Good course for practice and confidence. Fairways and greens in very good shape. Tee boxes and paths need a lot of work.
Boring
The back nine was interesting, but the front was pretty boring. So much work needs to be done especially leveling out the tee boxes and giving some grass a chance to grow there

Course in good shape
Have played this couse numeruos times over the last 5 years. It has come from a course just open after being closed, 5 years ago. At that time I would not have recomended to anyone. Over the years it has gotten better every year. It is now a course that I would tell people to play. Course conditions are as good as any course in the area. If this trend continues, in a couple of years, it should be one of the premier venues in the area.
Great course
This was my first time at Harkers Hollow and. It was wonderful. The course is really nice and they have a club house and a pool as well. I definitely will go back.
Nice course for the $$$
Played Harker's Hollow for the 1st time today. staff was very friendly and i was able to get of 30 minutes before my scheduled tee time on a Saturday afternoon. The pace of play was excellent until the 15th hole, we had to wait 15 minutes to tee off for some reason. after that there was no back log. ,
The course was in good condition and the greens were in excellent condition. The tee boxes could use some work on. The cart paths are in terrible shape and need to be resurfaced.
Overall, I had a great round of golf and would play the course again.
Crazy
The course is beautiful but they gave everybody a membership for $180 and nobody there knows how to play golf so for two golfers it took us almost 6 hours to play around you had to wait on everything you had to wait on every second shot had to wait on every green and people were driving balls from there Fairway over to left over to the right balls are flying out you from every direction

Long long time ago
It's been at lesdt 10 years since I played at Harkers. Ladt time the conditions were dreadful. I was pleasantly surprised at the turnaround since the new iwners took over.
The greens were excellent and the fairways are coming around nicely.
Tees are a little thin in spots and the bunkets are the weakest part of the course.
The management is making great strides to restore Harkers Hollow to its former glory.
Great job guys. The Staff is very courteous
