Harkers Hollow Golf Club

Very good condition for the price, especially the greens.

I got a primetime Sunday hot deal, so I thought I try out this course. The course has many pretty holes. However, it it quite tough (check the slope/rating). This is due to many ~400 yard par 4 holes (from the white tees) and smallish greens. Many of the holes have side or up/down hill lies. We took a cart, but the cart paths were almost unusable with the holes and bumps in them. They need to be replaced. The tees, greens, and fairways were mostly in good shape. It was a 4 1/2 hour round.

First time playing the course in years. Wow! What happened to those pathetic fairways, greens, and sand traps from a few short years ago when the course was being neglected prior to the auction sale of HH? What these owners have done is a bit short of miraculous. Where have all the weeds and crabgrass gone? Gone are all the bare spots which filled the fairways. The rough is thick and difficult unless you hit it into the trees. If you do, that cart ride will be extremely bumpy. There is quality sand in the traps. Although playing shortly after aeration, you could tell that these greens were in great shape. They are working hard on the tee boxes.

No longer is Harkers a course to avoid. If you can, give it a try again. If you remember the course five years ago...you will be more than impressed.

1st time playing here. Good layout with elevation changes. Greens were very nice. Not fast but uniform and well manicured. Tee boxes and fairways were good. Very playable.

They are working on the course and the improvements are obvious. Good bar restaurant area for a bite to eat.

Staff was friendly in pro shop and the restaurant.

Good course for practice and confidence. Fairways and greens in very good shape. Tee boxes and paths need a lot of work.

The back nine was interesting, but the front was pretty boring. So much work needs to be done especially leveling out the tee boxes and giving some grass a chance to grow there

Have played this couse numeruos times over the last 5 years. It has come from a course just open after being closed, 5 years ago. At that time I would not have recomended to anyone. Over the years it has gotten better every year. It is now a course that I would tell people to play. Course conditions are as good as any course in the area. If this trend continues, in a couple of years, it should be one of the premier venues in the area.
