Worst ever course and service
No grass in fairways - which were hard as concrete. Absolutely bald tee boxes and weed covered bunkers, dead trees laying around. No water or cart girl with drinks anywhere, AND no food or drinks at the turn. I’ve played on four continents, the worst is here in Princeton NJ!
Enjoyed our game
The people at the course were so kind. We enjoyed playing. We will be back.
Hey Gail,
Thank you for the kind words! Hope to see you again.
What a shame
This was a semi-private course that was taken over by Middlesex County. The tee boxes were brown & covered with broken tees, most fairways were burnt out, assume they no longer have access to water, greens were covered with disease and burnt out. Where there was watering occurring the sprinkler system was broken, the 13 th green had more than 1/2" of water on it as the sprinklers were stuck on. The retention pond between 10 & 11th fairways was a very strange green color with oblivious chemical additives.
What a shame what Middlesex County has done to this course. Recommend you don't play here.
Thank you for the review. The course was in excellent shape before the drought. We are working on getting a new irrigation system to avoid these dry conditions in the future.
Not worth the money
All the greens had patch marks on them, the tee boxes were basically cement boxes, couldn't even put your tee into three ground to set up, broken tees all over the place, the fairways were just as stiff as the tee boxes, God forbid the ranger came out and drove around and moved the pace, the pace of play was very slow, 2 groups ahead of us were basically taking their time like they owned the place and caused the course to get backed up.
5 hours of play for 18 holes is ridiculous.
Overall this place is at best worth $25 per round.
I hope they read this and make changes to the course
Your comments have been noted. The drought has been rough. We are working on getting a new irrigation system to avoid these dry conditions in the future
Thank you for the review. We are working on getting our irrigation system repaired to improve conditions
Bad shape
Most Tee boxes in horrible condition. Burnt out. Some with no grass. But the easy fix is have grounds keeper pick up all the broken tees. Tons of them at every hole. Several fairways burnt out also. Hard to even find grass. Granted it’s been a hot, dry summer but some things can be fixed if tended to.
Thank you for the review. I have passed it on to our superintendent
Fungus on greens
Always enjoyed this course in the past, burned up bad tee boxes and greens had a fungus. Not what once was a great course.
Thank you for the feedback. We are addressing the fungus and hope to see you again.
Appreciate the feedback. We are working to improve conditions
This course has some dry spots in the fairways as most courses this time of year will have. A couple greens had some bald spots from a fungus but very little of the greens were actually affected, otherwise greens were good. Very much worth playing here on a hot deal, but not sure I would be paying full price. Staff here always nice, lay out is both challenging and there are holes here that you can make a good score on.
Thank you for the positive review! Hope to see you again
Hey Joe,
Thanks for the feedback! Hope to see you again soon.
