Course needs work. Mud and standing water in traps. Some greens and fairways in poor condition.

Not bad bur overpriced

Course was not in good shape, but hasn't been in years. County should spend a little money on seeding.

First time this year
Greens and tee boxes were ok.
The bunkers for the most part had too much hard packed sand.Too many fairways had zero grass.
12 remains a big problem, with much of the fairway in awful shape.
I don’t see how that hole will improve much.
There are other dicey areas, such as 17.
If you clear the water but didn’t hit the green on the par 3, you will not have a good lie.
Pace of play was ok .
Only a Few Out
Always a Good Day @ Meadows!!! staff is Kool, Course is always in good shape for a county. Do to a cloudy day and a chance of rain not to many playing, played as a single but i dont hit extra balls you could if you wanted to . Done in 2 1/2 hr 18 holes Enjoy the course see you there

Meadows at Middlesex
From the beginning, the staff was friendly and accommodating. 1st round of the year and this was a good way to start. Cart path only due to severe winter weather. Understandable to protect the property. Some of the bunkers had water, but again, hard winter and a good day of rain. Greens ran true. Pleasant experience. Will be back. Worth the trip from NYC

Horrible course conditions
The bunker were the worse I’ve seen! The smell of sewage was so made that I almost had to leave! The only saving grace were the greens!

More challenging than you might think
I enjoyed my first round experience and happy to now have an alternate to Other courses in Princeton area.
Greens are in excellent shape as are most fairways.
Challenging tight course that has some long par 4's and front bunkers protecting every hole but the par 3's.
Will definitely play here more!

A typical muni.... nothing special
I was in the area attending some classes and had time on my hands. I wanted to play Springdale for its history but was unable to secure a tee time. So I opted for a nearby muni. I think I made a mistake. Some munis are better than others and don't deserve the negative label. This one lived up to the label. Bad tee boxes, bad greens, bad conditions. Disappointing all around -- but I did shoot a good round!!!
