It's a nice place
Meadows is a nice place to play. There are some very challenging holes. Nice layout. Most holes are different. Would play again.
Terrible Condition
The course was in terrible condition. Used to love playing here but in that condition. Fairways were just atrocious.
Hello Tommy, Thank you for your feedback. We realize the conditions of the fairways need improvement. The heat has taken a toll this summer but we are working hard to improve the conditions. Feel free to reach out to info@middlesexcountygolf.com to continue our conversation.
Work is being done. More needed
There are a lot of under repair areas roped off so they are trying. A lot more work is needed. Many fairways are burned out. Greens and tee boxes are spotty. Bunkers if not filled with water are muddy for the most part
I’ve played here before and the course was in much better condition. I would tell a friend there are better choices in the area
The practice net has been moved but at least it’s back up. However there were no practice balls
Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We are working very hard to improve the conditions of the bunkers with new drainage. ope you can give The Meadows another try in the fall.
Still needs some work
Layout is fine, but bunkers are terrible, fairways have too many bald areas and tees could be better.
Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We are working hard to improve the conditions of the bunkers and fairways. Hope you will play the Meadows again this year. Feel free to reach out to us at: info@middlesexcountygolf.com
In good shape, but ....
The course is in good shape . But,
A note at the sign in desk informed the customers that some tee boxes will be shut down for repairs starting July 30– and some other work on the course will also be done
There used to be a driving net which was good if you wanted to warm up. But it’s “ broken “ and down and they weren’t sure when it will be up again
Hello, Thank you for your feedback. We are reseeding two tee boxes as the heat has taken its toll this summer. We are working on getting the warm up net back up and running. It has been relocated behind the putting green. Hope to see you again.
Nice
First time playing- would recommend; good value for the price. Greens are challenging, some long holes, some tight spots, but a good, fair test. Good shape for a public course.
We're glad you enjoyed your first round here and think others would too. Thanks for your review and feedback. Hope to see you back again soon.
Muggy day at The Meadows
First time playing the Meadows, a moderately challenging course for my ability. Most fairways will give you a flat lie unless you're aiming for more challenge. The course was in great shape, greens were perfect, tee boxes were a little hard (to tee up). An enjoyable course to play. The bar serves good food and has attentive bar tenders.
Thanks for your review. We appreciate your positive feedback and glad you enjoyed your first round on our course. Hope to see you back again soon.
We appreciate your feedback and want to thank you for your review! Come back and visit us again soon.
First timer
Course was in great condition. Few bunkers were water logged, glad wasn’t in any of them. Front plays shorter than the back. Fair test of golf. Definite replay
So glad to hear you had a great first round with us at The Meadows. Thanks for your excellent review and feedback and hope to see you back again soon.
Thanks for your review. We hope to see you back again sometime soon.

Nice Greens, Fun Layout
I have played this course several times. Course maintenance seems to have drastically improved from prior years. Greens are becoming faster and putt well. The back 9 layout is quite memorable. Pro shop staff was pleasant as well. I will be back!
Thanks so much for the review! Billy Casper Golf took over the middlesex courses this past February. We have made it our goal to improve the course conditions and we're glad you are enjoying them. See you soon!
fairways and greens just aerated
Bunkers very uneven, some good others with stones some filled with water. Front nine in better shape than the back. Course very average with a few interesting holes. Hopefully as the golf season advances conditions will improve.
Thank you for your feedback. We take your opinion seriously, and are working everyday to improve course conditions especially since its early in the golf season. Hopefully we see you back soon!

Golf course or front lawn??
First time playing rough was super long lost 3 balls in my group. Course was easy greens were slow couldn’t tell the difference between rough and fairway in some spots.. Bunkers had no drainage almost all were filled with water.. Not worth $50 a round
Thank you for your feedback. We take your opinion seriously, and are working everyday to improve course conditions. We hope to see you back soon!
M@M
Golfnow Hot Deal makes this a great value. This is a tight course and plays very challenging from the blue tips. Tees, fairways and greens all tend to be in decent shape as per my half dozen or so rounds there the last 15 years or so. Greens are undulating puzzles and can be especially tricky when pins are set on the perimeters.
Best in Spring or Summer before the leaves drop and hide everything in the rough.
Thank you so much for your review. We value your feedback, and hope to see you back soon.
Caddyshack bar and grill
The Caddyshack Bar and Grill is THE BEST. (Same owners as The Extra Pint in Manville, NJ). Incredibly warm and friendly atmosphere. The absolute BEST hot wings on the planet. Everything is fabulous. You'll come back just for the Caddyshack!
Overpriced
I realize it's been a rough Summer with the weather. A lot of weeds in the fairways . Rough could b cut to speed up pace of play
Hurting
Like many courses this time of year, the course is starting to show signs of being heat beat. The greens, grown out due to the heat, were slow and didn't roll very well at all. The bunkers were hard and not sandy. The course had areas of high crabgrass and needed attention. I get that the heat was getting to the course, but cut the grass!! I like the tract but the conditions made it tough to play.
