Good course but, Signs, Signs!
I got so lost that I even skipped three holes. Need to put up some signs for first time players.
Had fun, though. Staff is great.

Golf in the time of Corona
Actually a nice course for a county. The back 9 is nicer than the front. Not very challenging overall but greens were fast and in good shape. The value is good. $87 for my son and I including separate carts on a Saturday 3:20pm

Neighbors ruined it for me.
This course had a great layout. Great shape in terms of fairways greens and tee boxes. But one instance on a front 9 fairway. A woman comes out of the woods as people are teeing off and lays down a blanket in the middle of the fairway and decides to stretch. Get out and across the road for 14th tee. Tee off. Turn the corner. There’s a family of 7 playing in the fairway. They gathered their kids and started walking. To the 15th hole par 3. Again in the way. Then 16th. 3 men playing soccer ON THE GREEN! Really just a let down. Never again for me. Get security to keep these people off of the course.

Thanks for the comment. We recognize this problem and now have rangers out at all times and we have contacted all the apartment complexes to discourage their residents from being on the course. SO far it has made a big difference. Hope you'll give The Meadows another chance.

First time in a long time

The course was in great condition considering all of the rain we have had in the past several days. The greens were in great condition, very undulating and challenging. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My first time playing this course.Look forward to playing it again and will definitely recommend it to all.

First time
Staff were super. No hassles or attitude.
Reminds me a lot of Concordia/Clearbrook type courses. Surrounded by trees and houses. Skinny fairways with townhomes all around you. Some fairways have those really bad dead areas where it's just hard dirt and weeds. These kinds of things are commonplace on courses built inside communities in central Jersey - trees and lack of funds make it hard to keep lush. Big power plant along holes 4/5. Most greens were in good shape and thats where cash-strapped courses should always funnel their attention. Kudos here.
Played from long tees. Back 9 is LOOOONG. I think every par 4 is 420+ and a couple 200 yard par threes. Very tough on a tight nieghborhood type course like this. Surprisingly scored better on back than front.
Meadows is not a visually exciting course but it is challenging and inexpensive. Good course to go out on and tune up your game.

The course was in good shape except for the bunkers which were hard and full of pebbles
Some had sitting water
The scenery was good with attractive foliage
Yes there are leaves all over the course but they were blowing them off fairways ,

A little beat up
The course conditions today were a little beat. There were a lot of bare patches throughout the course. Greens were in very good shape, but T boxes and fairways not so good.
Otherwise, Meadows is a nice place to play. Some very challenging par 4's on the back side.

Middle of the road
Course is challenging enough and has enough variety to keep you interested. However it is in fair shape. Needs some attention . Traps/fairways especially.
