Pomona Golf & Country Club
About
The Pomona Golf Course is a nine-hole, public course nestled in the wilderness of Southern New Jersey. The flat, wide course is geared more towards beginners so experienced golfers might not get much besides light practice on this course.
Pomona Golf Course is also located minutes away from casinos and entertainment. The course plays to a par of 32 with 2,426 yards at the longest tees. Detailed directions are needed since the golf course is somewhat hard to find if you are not familiar with the area since there are no signs of how to get there along the roads. Credit cards aren't accepted either, cash only.

Great employees, food, course condition. Very reasonable price structure. Will be back many times.
Great Family Owned Operated Course
Played this course for the second time yesterday July 12 2015. First time was early June. To date this course is well maintained. Tight fairways and small prefect kept greens. If you can hit the green on this course you can hit it anywhere as they are small but in perfect condition. The fairways are tight which improves my game no room for error. What the course lacks in size it makes up for as far as skill level with tight fairways and small greens. Love this place people are the most friendly owner operated course I've ever played at. Overall I give this place 5 stars as its a great place to play make friends get tips and enjoy a great day. Will be back. Last note course was in good condition back in June considering the bad winter but July 12 was perfect condition.
Overall good experience
Pomona is a nice course for people like me who don't come close to breaking 100 for 18 holes. Not too difficult. Course was in good condition. We enjoyed our play and plan to return again.
Worst golf course I have ever played
Starting with attitude of the staff when checking in this by far is worst golf experience I have encountered in a long time. Knowing this is an inexpensive nine hole course you don,t
expect much. There are actually no tee boxes? The length of the grass on the tee box is the same as the fairway where there is some grass. There is only one tee box, no advantage or tee box for the ladies.
I have used golf now for several years and until this experience all have been quality experiences. This coursr does not meet the standards of GolfNow and should not have been permitted to be part of their program. This is the first year that Pomona Golf has been offered on the golf now website.
Normally when you book a tee time with Golf Now you are charged a service fee of a couple of dollars. With this course the service charge was $14.00 for four people.
DON,T waste your time or money playing this course. The low price isn't enough to over come all the negatives.
Hopefully Golf Now reads this review and eliminates this course from their offerings so other customers don't experience the same as we did.
Very poor
The worst golf course I ever played. No woman's tee box . Customer service was the sorest. And the course was dirty and all weeds
