Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis
About
The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is an 18-hole, public course located in Little Egg Harbor. George Fazio designed the challenging course, which has a yardage of 6,848 at the longest tees with a par of 72. The course also features tree-lined fairways and greens of bent grass and water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis has a particularly tricky 6th hole since there is a pond in the middle of the fairway that you must get past in order to reach the green. The golf course used to be private so it features all the amenities that a private club would have such as a restaurant and pro shop.

Great course
The course is in great shape during the season. This season they have been working to make significant improvements to the course, so it can only get better. It’s reasonably priced. The staff is friendly and professional.
Worth a trip
The course is challenging ong for any game. The course was under construction on some holes and the green had ball marker were the player did not fix them. The same goes for the sand traps.
The course is still a nice course to play.
Conditions Poor , staff not helpful
Course conditions were maybe a 3/10 . Some of the spots were fine some of the spots were horrid . Some of the bunkers looked rough , hard dirt at best and green on 18 was bumpy like the skin of an orange . It's the type of place you can golf in jeans and a tee shirt and nobody bats an eye if that's your thing . There was also more cut up golf balls from the lawn mower along the tree lines that I have ever seen on a golf course (seems like an easy fix) Customer service was poor , had an issue with the supposed "free lunch" with purchase of a round but none of the 3 people working the counter could use a little common sense and reason to make things right for the customers. Overall not the type of golf round you look forward to all week .
Pretty Decent
One tee box was closed but that wasn't that big of a deal. It just shortened 1 hole. Greens were solid and fairways were clear. Nothing to be disappointed about.
ok let's all sing along
How do you solve a problem like Maria (Atlantis). How do you find a Superintendent to mow the grass. How do you find a word that means Maria (Atlantis). A flibbertigibbet! A will-o-' the wisp! A clown!
How do solve a riddle like Maria (Atlantis). How do you get a Greens Manager to fix the rough. How do you find a word that means Maria (Atlantis). A flibbertigibbet! A will-o'-the wisp! A clown!

Disappointed
Have enjoyed playing at Atlantis for years but was really disappointed in the shape of the course. The greens were really in poor condition and it negatively impacted our experience.
Great time at Atlantis
Went and played nine holes with my daughter. This was one of her first times out on a course and she had a great time. The course was very nice. She enjoyed seeing a lot of wildlife in addition to the game and we had a wonderful day.
Poor course conditions
I’ve enjoyed playing here before, so was looking forward to the round. Much of the course was in rough condition, thin cover on the fairways looking like it was mowed down to the dirt, rough was more weeds than thick grass. There were multiple areas with grounds under repair, ongoing construction, and greens repairing from aeration. Lots of the course was muddy even though there wasn’t any rain for over a week.
I understand that courses need to do work to keep up conditions and make repairs, but they usually post that info to inform golfers ahead of time and sometimes offer a discounted rate. Just knowing what to expect would’ve been enough for me either book the round knowing what to expect or set a tee time for another course.
A great county course
Good course, friendly staff. Its a long course and a bit challenging but i enjoyed myself. Good restaurant with nice specials
Very inconsistent
Each hole had something good but most were bad. The fairways were much to be desired. Lots of work is being done and I'm sure it will be a nice track but right now it's not worth the money. It's a 29 dollar track.
August Round
Lots of patchiness on the course and the tea boxes were atrocious.
