Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis
About
The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is an 18-hole, public course located in Little Egg Harbor. George Fazio designed the challenging course, which has a yardage of 6,848 at the longest tees with a par of 72. The course also features tree-lined fairways and greens of bent grass and water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis has a particularly tricky 6th hole since there is a pond in the middle of the fairway that you must get past in order to reach the green. The golf course used to be private so it features all the amenities that a private club would have such as a restaurant and pro shop.

Very nice course; excellent value!
Atlantis is a really good, small town course. Greens were absolutely phenomenal! Receptive, putted very true and were huge.
Every hole is tree lined. If you like the feel of a vintage tree lined course, Atlantis will be for you. 4 sets of tees give you opportunities to create a greater challenge.
A couple of the tee boxes were sloped. Not sure they’re going to fix that anytime soon.
I played with 3 members of Ocean County courses. They were knowledgeable and great guys to enjoy an afternoon with.
Atlantis has all different character of holes to keep you engaged and playing pretty much every club in the bag!
Highly recommended; especially for the price!
County Doesn’t Care
Ocean County New Jersey should be ashamed to have such a nice golf course and have it in such horrible condition. It has great bones and needs some tender love and care but From tall furry tea boxes to Fairway bunkers full of weeds. It just was not a great experience. And then pace of play was the worst. I’ve had all year throughout Pennsylvania or New Jersey. I ended up quitting after 11 holes cause I just couldn’t take it any longer having to wait on practically every single shot.
A bit long for seniors like me.
The course was in great shape and the weather was perfect but even from the senior tees the course was a bit long.
Only played 9 holes because it would have been a 6 hour round due to waiting to tee off on every hole.
Great round
Course was in great shape, greens are beautifully kept and we had no issues with pace of play. Definitely will be back
Nice course good value !
A nice public course , conditions were good , pace of play was a little slow . Challenging course!
Top 3 in Ocean County
I love Atlantis. Have played there more than a dozen times in the last 3 years. Course is in great condition except for 2 greens which were a little choppy. Tit is challenging but the course is open enough to recover from the occasional errant drive. Only criticism I have for my last round is that the Starter allowed 4 Carts 8 “Golfers” play together which really slowed pace of play. I drove off after playing 14 hole because we were waiting nearly 15 mins waiting to tee off.
Rainy day
We played Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. Rainy to start, cleared. Cart path only. We ended up enjoying ourself with our 13 year old grandson.
Staff is not very friendly. They didn’t want to be there or were just grumpy.
Two holes the cart path just ends. We rode the fairway and were admonished that we weren’t on the cart path. Ranger not friendly either. Go figure.
Fazzio design, would like to come back under dry conditions.
Great layout
Course is in very good shape, two temporary tee boxes on par 3”s but the new boxes look awesome!
Temp Tees and blotchy greens
Course had 3 or 4 tees closed off and temporary tees set up way too close to the greens. Saw no mention of that in the GolfNow listing. Several of the greens have suffered from disease or something and are very bumpy. They need to be sanded, rolled and re-seeded. Traps are ridiculous. Nobody is raking thanks to Covid and there is no enforcement on the course.
Great Shape
Course is in nice shape. They have done alot of work and it shows
Not my first time playing thisncourse
So this wasn’t my first time playing here but I have to say the course was in great condition. Friendly staff, friendly starter who’s smart and works efficiently. Great open fairways with some great grass and pro level greens. They were rolling so fast we couldn’t believe it. I’d definitely recommend this course to anyone
