Bad Course for Good Price
Conditions of the course aren't great and the ranger lets people out constantly so you're constantly waiting and being hurried from behind but it's cheap so...
Fair price
I mean it’s no pebble beach, and the staff has been rude both times I’ve been there (mostly the ranger). Other golfers were kinda rude too but that’s not on the course. But for the price totally worth dealing with!

Good course if you don't expect much
I really enjoy this course but you got to understand that for $17-12 bucks you aren't going to get the best course out there. If I want to play a quick 9 holes after work, I'll play here. The course not in the best shape but it's playable. The greens could use some divot repairs by players, bunkers were actually good, fairways have some dry patches but not horrible, and rough was rough lol. Lots of geese but that's just nature. Personally the geese don't bother me while pkaying. For the price I paid, I'm happy with the course and had a good time playing there. I will say too, I am a beginner and this course is suited for beginners or players who want to shoot a quick and cheap 9 holes.

Very Slow Goat Patch
Wasn't expecting much. Got even less. The pace was dreadful, they pace their tee times 10 minutes apart. One of the holes is swarming with cicada killers. Not a few, a swarm that actually becomes a hazard. When we asked the ranger to speed it up he said in a nice way that we'd just have to be patient. There were 2 groups waiting on that tee. Don't play here.

Great course for a beginner
Came here with 2 new golfers to introduce them to the game. It was an excellent course for an introduction. Lots of bare areas on the tee boxes with poor directional traffic for new golfers directing them to the next hole. Layout is not terrible and has greater potential if they want to make the course better. Hole # 8 seems to be excruciatingly laid out, it sits near what looks like a swamp land with standing water in which you can smell the stagnate water. Hope they care for the traps, tee boxes, and rid the course of all the geese which drop tons of pop on the green on one of the holes I can't recall which one.

If you can look pass the conditions
I have played this course 4 times in the last 12 months because I like to walk 9 holes at a reasonable price. I have always focused on how poorly maintained this course is until my last round . I understand the water problem with what used to be the seventh and eighth holes I guess but that still leaves the rest of the course witches really has some very nice golf holes . Holes 3,4,5,6,7, and 9 are really very good holes . Bergen county should be embarrassed By what they let happen to this course. I don’t know how a towns like Paramus can maintain a golf course and bergen county can not .GET IT TOGETHER BERGEN COUNTY GOLF

For $12 it’s hard to complain..but
I would not recommend playing this course if it has rained in the past week. 50% of the course is virtually unplayable due to lack of drainage with Hole 8 being pretty shocking. After walking through 200 yards of marshland to get from 7 to 8 the tee box is basically in a swamp.
Additionally, I brought my girlfriend along so she could walk and hang out seeing as I was solo and was told “no spectators are allowed because it’s too dangerous” I explained she has no intention of playing and just wanted to get some steps in. The pro told me I had to rent her a bag and pay green fees if she wanted to walk alongside. So $17 later, spectators were suddenly allowed. As long as they carry an empty bag.
