Great course!
Great course! Nice open layout. Just an FYI, Cart fee was not included! Had to pay an extra 16 dollars per person for carts. The course overall was in great shape

Played the course today in 4 hours the conditions were excellent! Greens were fast and true and the fairways were perfect. I would recommend the East course the layout is exceptional.
Good conditions...
The only complaint is that there A few sand traps that were concrete hard..
This is a course which we play when we can . It never disappoints
Nice pace !
We played in the afternoon, as a threesome, and the group in front of us didn’t show, so the starter sent us off and we played in 3:15 - we passed a walking threesome on the front 9 and got held up by a foursome on 17 & 18. Great day ! Only issue was the greens were a little slow - played here before and never this slow ? Will be back to play the West course ASAP !
Quality course
First time playing East this year. The course was in excellent shape except for a free bunkers which had too many peoples and rocks.
The bunker to the right of the fairway was awful, for example.
Pace of play was so-so.
We had a three some, and were behind a walking 4 some.
We had to wait on the par 3 8th, and from there to the end of the round we had to wait quite a bit.
Tough course
Links style with interesting bunkering on some holes. Subtle elevation changes and easy walk. No shade until last 3 holes.
Nice Day
Not too many courses where one can get a tee time for a single, and it was early in the day. Although hot and humid, the wind kept if comfortable. Got joined up with a real nice threesome, and we had a nice day. Course in very good shape, and the bald eagle flying around the 17th was a bonus!
Trouble at Mercer?
Have played many times at Mercer Oaks East. However, the last few times out it has been in pretty rough shape. The tee boxes are long, the fairways uncut with 6 in high weeds in spots, the rough is uncut and full of clover weed, while the greens are slow and not rolling true at all. The bunkers are in need of weeding and are never raked. The course is easily $10 overpriced for it's current condition. Hopefully the conditions are addressed soon.
Great course - sub par conditions
Mercer Oaks East is typically in great shape however right now the fairways and greens are below their standard.
It feels like they’re protecting the course. Fairways need to be cut, rough needs to be evened out and greens need to be mowed and rolled. Possibly related to staffing issues during Covid?
Fire up the mowers and rollers and it’ll be back to the top notch track it typically is.
Great to get out
In fair shape for early spring and considering the shutdown.
