Great golf experience except for evil hole positions
Course conditions were good, pace was ok but it was a Saturday, but hole positions were hellish. It’s not fun when you miss the hole by inches and then watch the ball roll 10-15 feet away and realize your next putt is longer than previous one or is now off the green; which happened to my playing partners more than once.

Great things ar Westwood
Played here on a beautiful day in late September. The course conditions have improved considerably over the past year. The greens were pretty fast but ran true. Several of the greens have too much slope for the average golfer, especially at the last 2 holes. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming which makes playing Westwood a great experience. Give the course a shot. The folks are really looking to improve the player’s experience. Thanks

I always have a good round on this course
This is my third time playing Westwood and I love it also the staff is very polite and helpful.

Westwood Review
I like to play this course as it is close to home and convenient. What I don't like is they schedule the tee times to close together which creates backlogs on the course.
Tee times are scheduled 8 minutes apart which is to close together. Tee times should be 15 minutes apart. I understand the goal of maximizing revenue but it is not an enjoyable experience when play is backed up.
In addition, there is no beverage cart on the course and players are not permitted to bring coolers even if they only contain water.

Good management
It is clear that the relatively new owners are much more friendly than the past family-owned venture and they are keen on improving the course conditions and overall experience. There is also a new setup for carts which works well. We had lunch at the newly remodeled bar/restaurant and that was great too.

Tired of slow play
Getting real tired of 5 hour rounds on a weekday. Finally saw ranger on 15 he did nothing a complete hole open in front of this group and had no balls to say anything to them. Just watch for a second went back to clubhouse.

Not nearly as bad as some people are saying
The course was in fine shape for the time of year and the price we paid. I saw all of the complaints and was concerned before I got there but those concerns were overblown. The greens were good enough and the fairways were fine. The pace was slow because the course was really crowded but that was probably due to perfect weather and the absence of an Eagles' game.

It’s a 17 hole golf course
No warning prior to booking that one of the holes was shut down. Pace of play was so slow that a 17 hole round took 5 hours. The ranger had the nerve to yell at us on the 13th hole to tee off faster when we were waiting on every shot on every hole. They offer four light bad beers but have 40 signs reminding guests that no outside coolers are allowed. Cheap, unfriendly, careless staff and management. Will never play again.

What a Perfect experience today!
From start to finish this was an Amazing experience. Matt in the Pro-Shop was friendly, polite and inviting. Even though it was a my 1st time here it felt like home. The course was very challenging and well maintained. I cannot wait to play this course again. I got my 1st par ever on hole 12 and will always remember it. Class act of an organization. Did no know greens were aerated and they did not give a discount because of it, I would not recommend playing here unless you call up and ask about when they aerate

Labor Day round
Nice to see it wasn’t Cart Path Only after a early morning drizzle. My rating was based on the vacant holes on the fairways and greens (No Sand filler) in large areas on all holes. We made the best of it but the rate didn’t compensate for this. My opinion only. This course is a good place to spend a Monday.
Wished they had more than the hot dog stand to eat at. It was Memorial Day. Might have thought to have more choices but not my call. Glad for the snack shack afterwards.
