Time?
The course was very busy . We were a 2 some starter matched us up which is expected. But a 2 some was in front of us who would play like a 4 some because sometimes they would hit 2 balls which turned a 4 hour round onto a 5 hour round. They are making improvements which are great
March round
Played 9 in March, so have to take it with a grain of salt. Conditions will obviously be better in summer. For what it is in this season, conditions still could have been slightly better, especially greens.
However, staff extremely friendly. Especially the starter, Matt. He was awesome!

Staff and course improved
Staff was beyond friendly and you can see the work being done to improve the course. It’ll be top notch in April!

Mid-week Play at Westwood
Best day of the week to play. Started at noon and got
through (3 golfers) in 4 hours. Foursome in front were slow (being kind) otherwise we would’ve been done a half hour earlier.
Tee boxes were mixed, dormant Zoysia grass or old grass. Fairways were good for this time of the year as were the Greens. Really need to do some work on a few. There were some bare spots present which hampered putting long distance.
I gave a 3 star for amenities. Hey, it’s “Winter Season” so, I understand if the snack cart is closed until Spring.
We played at noon and other than the slow foursome, it was a pretty nice day.

Improving Course
The layout is challenging. Short Course that requires shot planning . They are in the process of updating the course. It should be great when they're done

Westwood
Great course! Not overly long. At least 3 Risk/Reward holes (2,4, and 15). Repairs are in progress. Needs sand in bunkers and a gps update (yardage)

Course was bad, staff was worse
Played here for the first time. Staff treated us like crap and stereotyped us because we were young (30s) golfing midday on a weekday. We were running a little behind and apologized multiple times because we were coming from work. We did call and we apologized immediately when we arrive and it was only a minute or two after our tee time. We were threatened multiple times from multiple staff that we will not be welcomed back if we are late. Ironic part? The course conditions were HORRIBLE and every hole was backed up with no ranger. We still waited for our 1st tee and we were threatened? No one we saw was reheated but maybe it was because they were all retired white men.

The course is about average and some of the greens are in bad shape and the 7th hole is absolutely atrocious. And personally I have gone at different times during the year and it’s always in the same condition. They do have new carts. I thought over the early fall they would have renovated the golf course as far as the fairways and greens.
