Slow play . Threesome ahead of me was shooting multiple balls every hole and did not offer play through
early season
Course not in top shape yet. Tee time was double booked
Great value course
Shadowbrooke is a great course for your average player, looking to have fun. Most of the course is fairly open, with a few challenging holes mixed in. The course is in average shape, considering it's pretty secluded. It's hard to not have a fun time when you play at Shadowbrooke!

Great course. Best kept secret in the western suburbs.
The course has a couple tough holes
Need to play at least twice to know some of the hole layouts and where to hit your ball to.
course is in good shape and getting better
greens were slow but probably due to the time of the year. Course was in good shape and is a good value for the money.
Breezy day golf
The course is fairly easy and has wide fairways.
It was breezy on the day we played but it was warm and sunny.
The greens are always slow here and putts have to be hit firmly to get the hole.
No hassle type of course, they have no course marshalls but I have been asked if I want to play through many times.
Great time, great course.
It was a long drive to the course. But we had a great time golfing. The staff was very friendly.
Had a great time
The course was in great condition. I have play this course many times the greens rolled true the bunkers were in fantastic condition. We finished are round in just under four hours and that has been an issue in the past. Hope we get some rain to green the course up but I liked the natural appearance of the course. Keep up the great work and we will see you soon.
Value
Always a bargain, I like the ownership and want them to prosper. They are trying hard.

I play this course every week and always enjoy it and we never get pushed which makes the day more enjoyable
good overall course
They have forgiving holes for when your drivers not working so well and some that that take a fair amount of precision. Nice mix of open places and yet still challenge you. Conditions are good and place is well cared for. With the wooded areas and all the the rain we had the bugs were not present, they must have treated the course well. A good all around course that does not break the bank to play.
shadowbrooke great value for price
this course is a pretty open course with afew tough holes added in. Great play for the price I will definitely play course again.
The Course I Don't want to Talk About
This course is a well price course, you get your bang for the buck. There has been a lot of fixing up in the last few years, and more to come I'm sure. But over all a good deal for the person who wants to golf every weekend. The hot-dogs come from a local meat market and are the greatest around. The only wish they would put more of them in the kettle so the don't run out. I hate hot-dogs that are put into the microwave to be heated up.
Over all Stay away from this course ! ! ! I like play fast with very little waiting.
Good Value
Paid $25 w/ cart, so the price was right.
There are a couple jacked-up holes which is typical of a Goldstrand design, with one green on a blind shot par 3 that would make any clown's mouth at the putt putt course proud. Lot's of 5's and 3's, again, very Goldstrand-esque.
The greens were a bit shaggy and didn't roll very true, but the course definitely has potential with a little more maintenance attention.
Played 18 in 3 hours (2-some) with minimal waiting before the group ahead quit after 9. Pace of play was very good.
Sweet value and walkable
Good deal on a Monday. Enjoyable course. Not crowded. Mellow atmosphere. Some interesting challenges on greens and fairways but not too long
Okay for the money.
Nice setting for a golf course. Out in the country and rather peaceful. The clubhouse is an old farmhouse and it had a neat feel to it. Play moved along at a good pace. The only complaint is that the course was not real well kept. Not as well manicured as I had hoped for. Not complaining too loudly though because the price was pretty fair.

I've golfed here for years and cannot recall the course being in better condition! Great work crew!
