Good layout with plenty of challenging holes.

I am a 18 handicap player

You can’t beat the value of Golf Now’s rate. Unfortunately the greens had recently been aerated and sanded so putting was a difficult task. The fairways were well maintained although the pollen was rampant which made it difficult to find the ball in the rough. One of the few courses that does not have carts equipped with GPS. I have played this course several times and will continue to play it as overalll I have enjoyed the course layout.

Course is in great shape, greens are fast and firm.

Wow. This is a great course. First off just driving into the flag lined driveway you get a feeling you are someplace special. The staff that greets you are very friendly and accommodating. Nice clubhouse and pro shop. The front nine is wide open, the fairways and greens are in great condition.

You can usually play out of trouble pretty easily even if you hit into the tree line.

The back nine is a little different. You have to place your shots carefully on the sloping fairways and greens also water comes into play on the back. You will need a few rounds before you figure out the right shot to play, especially on the back nine. However with a little planning this will easily become a favorite course to play.

I worked here as a teenager. It's in great shape. Weekend rounds can be marathons, but if you catch the right day, it's a great layout. Interesting mix of long and short - especially if you choose the longer tees - elevation changes and modest hazards. Contoured greens that are well established will challenge you after a fresh cut.

This course is always fun to play; open and somewhat forgiving. Greens and fairways in great shape; however the rough was cut deep with the odd ball "disappearing" in plain site. I play this course often and find it excellent value for money, always in good condition with a friendly and engaging staff. As far as public courses go, this one is well maintained and in good shape. Played on the Friday before Memorial Day, great weather but an unusually slow pace of play leading to an almost 5 hour round. Generally during the week, the pace of play is good to excellent. If in the area I recommend Putnam as a friendly place to play.

Nice day. Not crowded for a sunny day. Keep that pace of play Mr. Ranger. Greens were rolling nice, and were holding.

Played here many, many times a year. A good course for walkers, except for the par three uphill sixteenth. After walking the first fifteen holes, that uphill trek takes a bit of doing.

The course is in very good condition. Greens roll true. It's important to take a bit of time and get a good read. Good test of putting skills. Subtle [and some not so subtle] breaks can give for a three putt real easy if you don't pay attention . And the greens are faster than they appear to be.

Eighteen holes that require eighteen different strategies.

Pace of play last round was very slow, but that round was the exception rather than the rule. Our two preceding foursomes were nice guys who may have just started playing recently so......they appreciated our patience.

All in all, this course makes for an enjoyable golf day.

Course was in great shape first week open, it's a fun course to play. I'll be playing there many more times over the summer
