This golf course is real nice, it’s very easy to play. I will be playing there as soon as I am back from London. The rate is great through golfnow.

Best course in orange county.
This is the best course in orange county. Wallkill golf club is nice, but narrow fairways and they're overpriced. Stony Ford has nice wide fairways for the beginner to intermediate players.
Stony Ford's price after 12:00 is $37/cart and 21 to walk. Only down with stony are the slow greens.

Second d time was better than the first
Course is in overall excellent condition; very user friendly for both high and low handicappers; greens were a bit slow but not extremely difficult. I would definitely play here again and recommend it to any who ask.

It was a very long round. The group in front of us were hitting 3 and 4 balls off the tee.. A ranger is needed to move people along.

First time on this course
Course in great shape,. Friendly staff and courteous fellow players.
The only thing missing was a cart person, very few opportunities to get refreshments on the course. At the present time, they lack a liquor license.

Orange County NY Gem
Beautiful - cant imaging how beautiful in the fall. Vistas on multiple holes. Course in excellent shape. A couple of holes need work but early in season. If you've never played, worth a few extra miles to play.

Very disappointed
The course was so over crowded.
A few friends and I got to the course 30 minutes early to get some extra practice at the driving range. Range was closed. Then we waited 30 minutes to tee on the first. Once we tee’d, the course ranger stuck two of his buddies walking in front of us, AFTER WE ALREADY TEE’D. The fairways were bad. Construction going on. Greens were the only good part of this course.

Stay Away
Weather was nice but it had rained a lot earlier in week. Course was soaked and should not have been open. Any area outside of fairway or greens was muddy with standing water even in high grass. Any ball landing off of fairway was lost or plugged. Cart path only was fine, but it was difficult to walk , even to the greens. Guy couldn't work computer system and made us sit and wait to check in, never offering an acknowledgement or apology. Second rate place.

Great Day
First outing of the year, got to meet up with an old friend that plays Stony Ford all the time. Course was in great shape ( ok, the rough was long and hard to get out) but overall great. GET YOUR BEER LICENSE :-)

Nice course
This is a very nice course. The greens were in excellent condition very smooth and true. The tee boxes, fairways and bunkers need work. In all fairness it is early in the season and the fairway need some time to recover from winter damage but there are areas that need particular attention.
Overall a nice course to play

Conditions were bad
It’s going to be awhile before this course is even going to be considered again. Tee boxes were littered with tees from what seemed like all fall. Fairways were full of goose, deer, maybe even bear poop.. greens had just been punched and all the plugs were dumped right of the green some even in the fairways leading into th greens. The only plus was the hot deal price. My advise go if you get a good price but don’t expect to have semi decent conditions for a month or two.

Nice course!
Nice layout, Nice course played here 11/12/18 so it was a little cold, the reason for my 3 ⭐️ is because the fairways could really use help, they keep the greens in excellent shape but the fairways have a LOT of dead spots. Very affordable so I guess you get what you pay for. unfortunately the weather hasn't cooperated this year so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it.
Great Local Course
For the waybthr weather has been this year with rain, this course was still in great playable condition.
