First time playing Paltz golf course.
Ground was like concrete. Balls bounced 12 plus feet high even on greens. We had a very hard time putting a tee in the ground. We were behind first time players were were brutally slow, no course etiquette. Stayed to eat at the restaurant and enjoyed the view after golf. The lady who worked the front desk was very nice.

Solid 9 hole course
Nice layout on this course. Greens were in great shape and are pretty tough. Only downfall were the length of the grass on the tee boxes and fairways. Definitely not cut low enough there, but again the greens were in really good shape so that makes it worth it to play this course.
Nice 9 hole track for the money.
Yardage way off. First hole is suppose to be par 5 but tee box was moved 150 yards forward from last year. No sand in traps but was told by the very nice couple we were paired with that they had the sand it would be put in later this year. Otherwise courses fun to play 9th hole is extremely difficult. For the price for nine holes you can't beat it with golf now.
Fairways full of leaves, too many lost balls that should have been found. Fairways were a bit long, needed cutting as well.
Too many cannons going off (KA-BOOM!!) nearby.

Course is in great shape!! The staff is very friendly & the food upstairs at Maggie Maes is awesome!!!
Nice 9 hole course
Great course if you want to play a quick 9. Very scenic and a cool layout that is challenging. Pace of play was not the best but I was in no rush so it was fine.
