The Golf Club at Middle Bay

Played this course many times this year and today it was in spectacular condition. Even the residue from the Canadian Geese was gone. The only negative was a seagull took my ball on a par three hole

Great course Amazing Greens and Beautiful Ocean views... good for walking also.

The course that sits on the southern shore of Oceanside. with a course layout that makes you use all of the clubs in your bag. 7 holes with water on your tee shots. The course is in excellent condition. The greens have very interesting breaks that will test your green reading. A great walking course. Have fun!

Arrived at course for my reservation to find out they cancelled my reservation. Weather was inclement the day prior however they were putting people out starting at 11am. When I arrived at the course they told me they called and sent an e-mail, did not receive an email, I did have a missed call. But they went and cancelled my reservation with the explanation of ya sorry we cancelled it we can get you out at 3pm. Ridiculous. Better get my money back for the reservation fee.

Reed off at 740 am. Played a great round. Very enjoyable. Course could have been marked off for ground under repair in many sections due to the wet weather the last few days but they get a pass in times like these. However, on the 16th hole we were all putting and 4 grounds crew men drove up onto the green and began putting in a new hole. I asked them politely to wait till we finished as there was an entire hole open behind us. They completely ignored my request and not only continued working but also started cutting the grass around the green. I have never seen this happen anywhere.

Course rates out to be fun and fair. Wind off the water is always a challenge but the course changes to holes away from water and wind dies down

I feel like there is a lack of public options in Nassau County for golf and this is the best of the bunch. Lido is nice but Oceanside location is easier to & from for golfers coming outside the area. Whether walking or riding, course is a good time with buddies at a modest pace. great views in early & middle of the round near the bay.

Geese t*** everywhere( Typical Middle Bay) and leaves everywhere with fall. How are you unable to contain the leaves when you’re a course by the water lol. Quite pathetic and that’s me putting it mildly. This time last year I played this course 8 more times than I have this year. That should say something. I don’t know why I keep giving this dump by the water chances and my money. Oh, wait. It’s a good reason to leave the Dix Hills/greater area and play a course by the water and change the scenery. Atleast this place got the green situation fixed. The ball actually rolls smoothly now. Also, last time I was here 3 holes had greens where there were literally divots in them. I should’ve taken pictures and uploaded to golf advisor.

First time at this course after hearing others tell how good a track it is. Found the course in great shape tee to green. Greens were fast and true, bunkers were excellent as well, no pebbles!

Will definitely return to play this course again

The course was in excellent condition and the greens were rolling fast and true. Pace of play was exceptional as well. Looking forward to coming back again and again.

Since it reopened I’ve never had a bad around here at middle Bay. The tease the fairways the greens everything is in great shape for starters are fantastic the Ranger is out moving everybody long and the views along the water are spectacular. Played with three guys this past weekend who drove down from Scarsdale, what a blast. Tell your friends tell your friends ....wait don’t tell your friends we do want the secret to get out.
