Regulation Eighteen at Smithtown Landing Golf Club
About
Smithtown Landing Golf Club offers both an 18-hole regulation course and a nine-hole executive course. The courses are open to the public on weekdays and to Smithtown residents on the weekends. The Regulation Course has a surprisingly tough layout with subtle but tricky contours throughout that cause some challenging lies. Mature trees line the fairways, making accuracy a necessity and there are also several strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greensides. At 6,114 yards from the back tees, it's a golf course that requires strategy over length, beginning with the first hole. This dogleg right par 4 will force you to carefully think about the placement off the tee. In addition to the two golf courses, Smithtown Landing also has two practice greens with surrounding short game areas and a driving range.

Fun & challenging little track
Played from the back tees.. no carts due to morning rainy conditions but course was wide open with excellent pace of play.. lots of undulations and challenging tee shots.. great value for the money.. can’t do much better for a local public course
Nice course
Fairways in good shape, greens were not. Disappointed in pace of play. Finished 16 in over 4 hours then left. No snack bar or any food to get. Could be due to time of year. Friendly service. Par 5s are tough

Not bad for March in new York. The greens were slick , hard and fast. No rough to speak of . but fairways were in winter shape - to be expected. Just happy to be playing!!!
Awesome!!!
Layout is amazingly nice view
Every green is tricky
Need advanced
Never forget this experience

Good Winter golf condition!
Played on a 55-60 degree day in mid-January so can't really complain. Course condition is very clean and fairly well maintained. Course is not very long, no water hazards and min bunker hazards (didn't hit into 1 bunker all day). Pace was quite slow but really bc of the slow 4-some in front of us. Would definitely come back to this course.
Nice course
Great track. You can hit a lot of different shots. Elevation changes are great
Good value for the money
The course was fun to play. No waiting whatsoever. Only drawback was that there was no water in the bathroom.
Rain Out 5 minutes before Tee Time
I had a Hot Deal at 12:36 P.M. and it started pouring at 12:30 P.M. I tried to cancel and reschedule but Golf Now's web site was not cooperating.

Great Value and Challenging.
The Landing is always in great condition and Henry and the staff there do a great job, as always. Highly recommend for a challenging day of golf.
Beautiful challenging course
Beautiful challenging course that is well maintained with nice views.
Fall leaves being blown off fairways was terrific!
Love to play here
Always a friendly smile when you arrive. Staff is professional and affable. This course is in better shape than some of the higher priced courses in Suffolk County. Not sure how this happens, however please continue to make this club a great place to play at.

Smithtown Landing - October play
It has so long since playing this course I have completely forgot the layout, conditions, etc. So playing was like the first time. If you don't know this course it can be challanging the first time out. The course is hilly and there are a number of blind shots. The course conditions are good. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I will come back again.
