LaTourette Golf Course

Started 45 minutes after our tee time. There were no staff helping to push people along.

Nice course layout, fairways, greens and tee boxes were in fairly good condition and staff were friendly and accomodating.

There was one gentleman that came up to us on his cart and blamed me and my group for the backup. I tried to explain that the two groups in front of us one 4some was walking and the group directly in front of us was taking there time. He than proceeded to tell me absolutely not it is definitely your fault. He shouldn’t be dealing with people if he doesn’t know how to speak to them. That was a huge disappointment for my 4some and I know for a fact it wasn’t us. But I love the course and the people are usually really courteous and good. It was just that one individual.

While there’s been big improvements To the course they’re still not quite there yet. Greens are bumpy and ranges. Need to be out on the course moving pay Supply.

course was in good shapes greens still a little bumpy from aeration but not too bad. What they charge for a golf cart is ridiculous $45 for cart for 2 players is the highest rate I have seen for any course I ever played at

While I realise the new owners are trying to upgrade the course it still needs a lot of work specials for seniors and off hours would help the regular Golf during the week and more amenities on the course would also help to make the experience more fulfilling Not giving up on it yet, but still not satisfied For the price that we’re paying

Fairways were being cut down, greens were fast, tee boxes being maintained. Even ghd bunkers had sand !!!!

Recommend to play a round before the season ends

Course and greens were actually in great condition. The concern is the pace of play. Need to space out the tee times further. No reason for them to be 5-8min apart.

Great course overall. Nicely kept greens and fairways; however, signage needs to be improved. In ma y cases we foud ourselves lost as to the direction of the next hole. This can be solved with a few sign posts pointing to the direction of the next hole.

Labor day, so every tee time was full.

9 holes 2 1/2 hours

But...

Every hole was in excellent condition. Even the rough was trimmed to near fairway level. Miss hits were in play. Greens were so true.and already aerated firm...

Going back on Wednesday

I can certainly deal with the aeration of the greens. However, several sand traps were either muddy or almost clay like hard. A few were muddy and full of goose droppings. The course finally has all new carts, but many of the cart paths need repair and re-paving. The tee boxes were being aerated. Now the Golf NY has taken over, they do need to start continuously alternate the tee boxes because this course are historically always badly beat up. The fairways were ok for this time of year. Rain definitely helped this year. The staff are always friendly at this course.
