Spook Rock Golf Course

Course was in great shape. Especially couple days after huge storm.

I made the drive up from NYC, about an hour, and was not disappointed. Course was in excellent shape, pace of play was never a concern, greens and fairways were more than acceptable. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I will certainly be back soon!

Tee Off.com didn't mension price was walking only, so proshop charge $20 per player for cart.

So, booking by teeoff,com is more expensive then booking by course website.

Course in excellent condition. Especially for a muni that gets a lot of play. Very challenging but fair layout. I’ve played this course since it opened. As good of condition it’s ever been in.

First time playing here. Excellent conditions, an above average public course for sure. Old style, tree lined layout with plenty of doglegs. Very score-able course if you're hitting it straight, but the greens are a bit tricky and you can get in trouble if you're not accurate off the tee. I will be back.

Drove 1hr from central jersey., worth the drive . Course was in very good condition.Greens were generous and one of the best I played this year. Tee boxes not as flat . Bunkers make you think, there’s a lot of them Very walkable Good value on Golfnow. Will play again .

First time on this track and was very impressed. Greens were very well maintained and the course was in good shape from tee to green. Back tees offer a solid challenge, especially on the Par 3’s. Will def go back soon. A bit pricey once you include a cart but worth the $$ if you want to play a well conditioned course. No complaints here but watch out for the pin placements. Greens are not easy if you live above the hole. Enjoy!!

Second time playing here and it really is a well maintained course, nice layout, alot do doglegs but very fair. I’ve played all the courses around Rockland, Westchester and this is my new favorite, mainly because it’s well kept, tee boxes are flat and not beat up!

I've been playing this course for over 25 years. It is just as beautifully manicured as always and the greens run true. Very difficult hole placements on the greens but the majority of the holes are open and not too tight. Plenty of sand on all holes to keep you honest. I love playing Spook Rock whenever I can and having it on GolfNow at discounted rates with the ability to book advance tee times is fantastic! One of my top 3 favorite courses in Rockland County, NY!

I didn't know where Spook Rock Golf Course was until a friend of mine suggested it for us to play. WOW! What a course. The personnel treated me respectfully and appreciated my business. The course is wide open with challenging holes for all skill levels. It is also walkable - an added plus. I recommend playing this course...I certainly will again.

I injured my back earlier this week, tried to cancel but was indicated that even though I had a medical reason, "this reservation is not available for cancellation".

Love the course ... but pretty awful policy whether it's the course or GolfNow. I can't play anymore this season.

Hidden gem, course layout is perfect for walking. I took a cart for my first time because I did not have a layout of the course and welcomed the use of the GPS. The Greens are large and receptive. The greens were in excellent condition.

For a public course that receives a good amount of play the conditions were outstanding. Great value. I will be returning to play this golf course again. Only complaint, greens were a little on the slow side (it makes sense to keep them slow because of the amount of play)

Course conditions, greens, and fairways are in outstanding condition! I played after 4 pm and completed all 18 holes. The pace of play was excellent.

After sitting through a rain storm on the 3rd hole, we began to play again when the rain subsided. One hole later we were informed that everyone was being kicked off the course because they don’t want us “ruining it in the last 3 hours.” I’m sorry, but I didn’t realize that this was Augusta National. Worst of all was that they didn’t even give us a full refund after kicking us off the course. They gave us a prorated rain check and forced us to have to endure this horrific course all over again. Worst course ever!

Started off with the starter letting the group that came 20 minutes late to their 5 o’clock tee time tee up ahead of me when I was on time for my 5:20 tee time. Then the starter assured us that the pace of play is “moving quite well.” When we got out we waited on every single shot. We were often times stuck on the same tee box as the group ahead of us. On top of it all, the staff is incredibly unfriendly and I feel like I wasted my money. I will never come back here.

If you are in the vicinity of Spook Rock, you need to play at least one round and then you will find yourself returning. A really nice walk in the park.
