Hickory Hill Golf Course

I know there has not been much rain lately but this was something else, these greens would not hold anything whatsoever. 60 degree flop shots would land at the front of the green and role to/over the back. Fairways long and rough was a similar length. I stopped after 9 holes. Played this course a lot and it seems to just be getting worse.

Overall a nice course. Need to have yardage put on scorecard for Gold Tees.

Never will I play here again. I understand grass clipping in the rough but the fairway? I was very disappointed. Staff was very friendly and kind but course was in terrible condition.

Course plays long. Very hilly. Tough is extremely thick.

Greens r very hard, but u want something to keep you guessing if u like a challenging course. If u can play well here, u can play well anywhere. Love playing here. The people here r excellent from the grasscutters to management. Very friendly and pleasant. Can't wait to play again

Need cut the rough better it was so hard to find golf balls work on your mowing so we can find balls

This course just does not drain well at all. Cart path only, and most of the fairways were soaked.

Not a enjoyable day.

Booked a hot deal for $14 a person. Value was unbelievable for quality of course. We had to arrive late to tee time and called up informing front desk so. They were completely understanding and told us we can tee off whenever we wanted (course was empty that day). The layout was nice with beautiful views on some holes. The course was in pretty good shape for the most part and presented a tough challenge from the tips. This is not a flat course and some fairways are built on the side of a hill. Only negative on this course were the greens. There are huge mounds placed all over them which can punish well hit approach shots. It got a little frustrating at times but besides that there were no other complaints. Overall I would recommend this course especially if you can find a hot deal for $14 (I would consider anything under $40) for this course good value.

The course was in the best shape I have ever seen it. Drainage issues addressed. Some quad vandalism on 12 was repaired and healing. Challenging course. Hole placement was ridiculous but fun.

Greens were in remarkably good condition.

Despite cold and wind and mud (not course’s fault) a pleasant experience and they let you walk! Proud that it is a state facility too!

A very nice course. it's a tough course with a lot of up and downs and greens that run. overall the course was in good shape. a little muddy on some holes but that is expected this time of year. staff was very friendly

There was not to much water 4 par 5's and a good amount of bunkers..I wish I played it prior to this time..The starter jimmie great guy

This is my go to course when I'm home to see my family simply because the pace of play is so good. I'm an early morning golfer but regardless, the staff is friendly and the round goes quickly and the course is being worked on and improved. The new management team is better then the prior regime and its showing. I'd rather play an average course quickly then a great course in 5+ hours.

Not bad for the price. It was a very average course.
