Staff and course were great. Greens rolled true and if you stray off the fairway the rough will make you pay! I will be back!!
Great greens
The greens are in beautiful shape. You just have to figure out the speed. Keep it on the fairway, the rough will eat your ball up.
Great Atmosphere
Lots of golfers out during Covid, course was busy but everyone was respectful and patient with each other.
Beware of drunk regulars
Took my dad here for Father’s Day. Course was in poor condition and the pace of play was ridiculously slow. As we made the turn, we caught up to a group of 5. Because of their slow play, we decided to pass them up and skip to the next hole. A guy from the group of 5 got angry and broke away from their group to purposely hit into us on the following 2 holes coming within 20 ft of hitting us. I called the club house but no answer. We let him play through where on the following par 3, he broke the flag and shoved it down into the hole. We returned the cart and told our concerns to the cart guy who stated they have had issues with this particular guy in the past. I emailed the course that Monday and have not heard back since.
Not the best
Course wasnt in great condition. Blew horn for storm and it never rained. Did give us acceptable rain voucher. Wouldnt recommend to friends. Overall experience 2 out of 5 stars
Rough around the edges, but fun course
I’m not a very good golfer, so finding a fun, interesting, and challenging course in a beautiful location that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg has been really nice. There are spots where the fairway or rough might be a bit patchy, but the greens have been in great shape every time I’ve played, and there is a great variety of holes. Overall, a good fun course with friends.
beautiful day for golf
It was nice to be out with good friends to enjoy the beautiful day to play golf. the course was not in the best shape. But considering the circumstances with covid-19 the staff was very friendly and working to improve the conditions.
Worth the $
The course and greens were in good shape. Good variety of holes. Would definitely recommend someone to try it out.
They’re open!
Tee boxes, fairways & first cut of rough were in pretty bad shape on most holes. No score cards or signs at tee boxes made judgment on shots difficult. Also unclear what yardages few yardage markers there are put you at. Glad this course is open but could use some fine tuning
Dry as a bone
Dry as a bone
I really like this course and played a lot. But I can’t read it very high. It’s been quite fully even more things of been really dry. I guess because grass seed is down and they’re waiting for it to come up. So the fairways are not in very good shape and the course is dry as a bone. The good news, the greens are so hard I didn’t have to fix a ball mark all day.
I know times are tough but this is sad
I enjoy the layout of this course even with some of the quirky holes. I know it’s early in the season and the virus is killing business but the shape of this course is the worst I have seen in the area. There are bare tees of nothing but dirt, the fairways are like concrete, and the cart paths are falling apart. I wouldn’t know where to begin to fix it. At least they haven’t aerated yet so the greens still putt well.
Slim Pickings
Played this course for the first time this week. The staff is very friendly and saw them sanitizing carts. The course is in ROUGH condition (the tee boxes were rock-hard dirt. It was cart path only due to everyone required to take their own cart during Coronavirus but there’s no fairways to protect. The holes are dead straight aside from a few rare occasions. Only positives: friendly staff, greens were OK. Overpriced at $30
It is! What it is!?
Good to play!!!! Cart path only?? Bring a pen and paper. Old scorecard would work! None available . I get it! Heads up on both would have been nice! In conclusion, Go & get after it! Course is none the worse nor the better! Since, the cable cart stopped from 11 up to 12 th hole. Still, one of the best par 3 in the metro! If you need ? A feel good booster round! It’s in a valley & possible Paridise for your game
