Aerated the fairways. Not good play
Aerated the fairways. Not good play Played it a few weeks ago and much better shape why i still recommend as value for money
Good practice course
Course was really dry, tee boxes were broken down, couldn’t get a tee in the ground. Greens were shaggy and needed to be cut.
Last Time Here
I’ve played this course several dozens of times over the years. It’s a short course, perfect for playing with my son. This particular round will be my last though. The course super asked my son and I if we were playing 27 as we made the turn to hole 10. I said nope, 18. He then said I swear I saw you playing the final holes not too long ago. So instead of a) knowing what he was talking about b) taking my word when I told him the answer to his obnoxious question c) checking with the cashier to verify my answer, he instead questioned me again. Ridiculous. Had I not been with my impressionable son I would have told him in far less friendly terms and left then. On top of that nonsense, THEY LET A FIVESOME TEE OFF ON 10 RIGHT IN FRONT OF US. The group hadn’t been in front of us all afternoon, they just teed off on 10 and we had to skip a hole and pass them. What a joke.
Paradise not maintained
Could not get a tee into the ground.
Bare spots in fairways, with other places not mowed.
My son actually asked "Do they even TRY to maintain this place?
Won't go again, unless maybe in the fall for fall colors.
Beautiful surroundings. Course needs work.
The scenery is fantastic throughout the course. The course itself though isn’t up to the same level. Tee boxes were rock hard and almost impossible to get a tee into. Half of the greens were also very dry and hard and played almost like bare dirt. The fairways would be great if the grass was cut better but they are far too long. We often had difficulty spotting balls on the fairway because the grass was so long.
Course has a lot of potential if they would put more into the upkeep.
Weekend 5 hours
Course is in better shape than earlier this year. Many tees are still toast but greens are better. Waited at least 5-10 mins a shot. Quit at 13 and played. 1-3 again before had to leave after 4+ hours. Just too many knuckleheads packed in here.
Staff and course were great. Greens rolled true and if you stray off the fairway the rough will make you pay! I will be back!!
Great greens
The greens are in beautiful shape. You just have to figure out the speed. Keep it on the fairway, the rough will eat your ball up.
Great Atmosphere
Lots of golfers out during Covid, course was busy but everyone was respectful and patient with each other.
Beware of drunk regulars
Took my dad here for Father’s Day. Course was in poor condition and the pace of play was ridiculously slow. As we made the turn, we caught up to a group of 5. Because of their slow play, we decided to pass them up and skip to the next hole. A guy from the group of 5 got angry and broke away from their group to purposely hit into us on the following 2 holes coming within 20 ft of hitting us. I called the club house but no answer. We let him play through where on the following par 3, he broke the flag and shoved it down into the hole. We returned the cart and told our concerns to the cart guy who stated they have had issues with this particular guy in the past. I emailed the course that Monday and have not heard back since.
Not the best
Course wasnt in great condition. Blew horn for storm and it never rained. Did give us acceptable rain voucher. Wouldnt recommend to friends. Overall experience 2 out of 5 stars
Rough around the edges, but fun course
I’m not a very good golfer, so finding a fun, interesting, and challenging course in a beautiful location that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg has been really nice. There are spots where the fairway or rough might be a bit patchy, but the greens have been in great shape every time I’ve played, and there is a great variety of holes. Overall, a good fun course with friends.
