Greens in very good shape
The staff here is always the best. Pretty good value and they are making strides to make this place better every time i play.
Greens rolled very well and this place can be quite a bit challenging from the back tees. Fairways are better than last time, but there are a number of trouble spots, same as a lot of STL courses this year.
Love playing here and this place is always fun gambling since you can take some chances on a number of holes.
Slowwwwwww
Second time playing this course this week and couldn’t finish 18 holes. Super slow pace with single walkers ahead of foursomes and threesomes. No one lets you play through and there is zero course management in this regard. If it were $15 or so it would be tolerable. But to pay $30 late in the day it is unacceptable and there are better options nearby where the course manages the pace more appropriately. Not worth the money due to this.
poorly designed course
Don't waist your day with this poorly designed course, very slow play, no marshall to help things along. Friendly staff, can only work with what they have...which isn't much. Drop prices by a third and maybe there would be value.
Course overall was in pretty good shape for this time of year. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative thing I could say about the course was the lack of yardage markers.
Busy
Course was pretty crowded. They paired up a single with our threesome. Threw my game off. Course hasn't greened up yet.
Fun course
Played this course for the second time.
Not real long but challenging. Staff is very friendly.
Course was in good shape for April.
Worth playinf!!
Trying to Play
I usually love this course and felt it offered good value until our recent visit. I realize it's difficult to expect course conditions to be good at this time of year. The tee boxes were barren and relatively little grass. Many areas of the fairways were similar. The greens were in fantastic shape and rolled very well. The staff are always very friendly at the course.
My concern comes from slow play, five-some's and no course marshaling. I would not expect a full staff presence at this stage of the season, although an occasional trip around the course would help to minimize slow play. We tried to finish 18, but 4 1/2 hours for 15 holes was plenty for us. We waited no less than 5 minutes on each hole and about the same for each shot to the green. This really disrupts my game and my spirit when I encounter this on a course.
I will have a hard time returning to play here again and that is disheartening. This is a fun course and usually good conditions.
Course in good shape
Greens are in very good shape for this time of year. Can't wait for the fairways to green up. Could use some windshields on the carts though.
Lives up to it's name.
My new favorite course. Especially like the par 3's.
Down the middle
We had a great time at 58* .
The course was in great shape.
The cart we started with was a little sluggish so we changed at the end of the front 9, The sun came out on the back 9, All was well, We will return.

Pretty Consistent Course
Fairways and rough were showing wear for the time of year. Greens were still in great shape after seeding and sanding. Like the layout, although not extremely challenging. we come back to this course a few times each year due to the friendly staff and consistent course conditions. See you next year!
Decent golfing
Played her for the first time in a few years and was pleasantly surprised
The tee boxes were good, fairways were good, greens were soft but fairly fast and consistent. Was worried when on the practice green cuz it was pretty ratty but the greens on the course were good. Some holes are quirky with sharp doglegs and elevation changes, but enjoyed playing here
Good to Play this Course Again
We had not played this course for a while and it was fun to return. Course in fair shape. Front 9 is relatively easy, back nine more difficult, especially 18th hole. Pace was good -- a somewhat slow 3-some let us play through
Pleasant surprise!
I selected Paradise Valley because it was the only course that would let me reserve for 9 holes. The day before we played my 80 year old father in law decided not to play. So I called the course directly and moved my tee time up an hour and switched to 18 holes. My son and I played as a 2 some, behind a string of 4 somes and followed by a 3 some. I hadn't played Paradise Valley in over 20 years, and did not expect too much in terms of course conditions. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the greens, fairways, and tee boxes -- all were in very good shape. The pace of play was terrific, considering it was an early Saturday morning tee time on a holiday weekend. We played 18 holes in 3 hrs 45 minutes. I definitely recommend this course for an inexpensive fun round of golf.
First Time Won't Be The Last
After playing 18 at another local course, my buddy and I needed to get some additional work in, but didn't want to play some other 9 hole courses we're familiar with. After checking the GolfNow app, we found that Paradise Valley was just five miles from where we were, so we decided to give it a go.
We played the front 9 at Paradise Valley on 6/11 for the first time. I must say, this is one of the best looking and most well manicured courses I've had the opportunity to play. Mind you, I only played the front, but if the back is anywhere need what I had the chance to play on, GREAT course. I personally cannot wait to go back and go the full 18.
Not the ideal course
This tee time should have never been available to play. When we got there, we played a very good pace for our first 9. On the back nine, we had to play behind a league and it took us almost 4 hours to complete 9 holes.
We were only supposed to be charged $22 a person after the GolfNow anitial fee, however we were charged $26/person.
They had just sanded the greens, which is beyond me why you would do so this late. It was like putting on a beach. The fairways and tee boxes were in rough shape too.
Too many other course at the same price or cheaper that are in way better shape to come back.
Most all courses will try to fill out a foursome. As a beginner you need to get used to this or be sure to have your foursome set up. I have to ask, how good is your game as a beginner to have it "thrown off"?
