In all my time golfing, I have never felt as disrespected and annoyed as today.
To start the course seemed to be majorly overbooked for morning tee times. This was acceptable, to an extent, for being a Sunday but 2.5 hours on the front nine is hard, nay impossible to defend with this course. At the turn, a foursome in front of us dropped down to a two. We decided to pass, though we were a four, but hadn't expected our random two addition to our tee time to follow us. All was fine with players ahead of the two we passed, they even aencouraged us to tee off before them at the next box. It became an issue when a 20 something year old "marshall" decided to voice his "opinion" that it was poor golf etiquette and improper of us to speed up pace of play and to pass the slower players, as is stated on their score cards even. He continued to voice that we were in the wrong until finally leaving in a passive aggressive manner. We then, after some discussion, decided to leave.
I cannot understand how our pace of play issue EVER needed to be addressed to us and not the players ahead of us. The next three holes had not a single person playing them as we drove back to the parking lot.
Needless to say I nor my teammate will ever return to play this course.
Fix your issues.
Favorite course around
Been here several times… always in great condition … fun but has the challenges for everyone … staff was great… pace was fast and price was reasonable … will return soon
Great Course For The Price
You wont find many courses better for the price. Paid $29 for a Friday morning time. Pace was good for the most part, course is in pretty good condition. Rough and tee boxes could be a little shorter. Otherwise not many complaints.
Long waits
We haven’t played this course for 2 years for the simple fact that they were stacking tee times on top of tee times and you had to wait sometimes as long as 10 minutes to tee off due to all the groups in front of you. This happened again on Sunday. EVERY SINGLE TEE BOX ! We had to wait 5-10 minutes to tee off. Sometimes waiting for our second shot so everyone could clear off the green. They need a Marshall , took just under 5 hours to play. The greens looked great and the fairways were decent. The staff is always friendly but the wait time on the course is terrible.
They don't even answer the phone.
What a terrible place. The sad thing is they act like this is a real golf course.
Poor tee times and no water
I do enjoy this course. I was however disappointed as always how they just pile as many people on the course as possible. They’ve never cared about customer experience from a pace of play standpoint.
Who doesn’t have water jugs on a course when it’s 95 outside?
Better than a couple months ago
The fairways and greens were a lot better than early on in the season. They are still trying to make improvements to the tee boxes which make it kind of annoying but overall great for the price.
Enjoyable course!
This course has a few surprises but overall very enjoyable.
Decent course for the money
Good value and nice holes. Tee boxes were in rough shape.
Where Are the Red tee boxes?
Course is not female friendly. On about half the holes I did see red blocks that looked like they had just been dropped hap-hazzardly onto the course. Am wondering if this is an effort to discourage women from playing the course. Apart from this, the front 9 was in good shape, back 9 needs some work & is very difficult. Haven't played the course for several years and I was disappointed. Staff, however, were very nice and accommodating. Love seeing all the 4-legged critters at the club house and the deer on the course.
7/10
Greens were pretty tore up, especially par 3s - Fairways were ok for the most part except one fairway had a giant mud patch/rut/ditch and I've never seen a course with anything like that going on
