Always enjoy playing here, more so not that they are performing TLC lately. They have some temporary tee boxes due to maintenance. Was not a major issue. All in all condition are good. As usual no one seems to fix the divots on the greens

Good challenging city course, and they're working on it

Overall, I like Forest Park! It's one of a number of good GolfNYC courses. I was able to get a spot on a weekday morning and get out quickly. Snack bar was convenient for breakfast sandwich before getting out. The course itself has its challenges, maybe not ideal for a brand-new golfer with a number of forced carries over water and impossible-to-find-a-ball rough if you top it. But if you can consistently get the ball in the air, you're fine.

A year ago, this course had some major wear and tear, particularly on a number of the tee boxes. Good news - those are being fixed! Bad news - they're not totally fixed yet, so on a few holes, you're using shorter tee boxes, and there are mats on one hole. I'm fine with this, I'm happy to see work being put into the course, so I deal with that temporary inconvenience. And it meant a fairly short birdie on Par5 #18 playing a little under 400 from the middles right now :) Always love a birdie to finish the day.

This is very surprising and need to be improved immediately.

Even temporary bathroom shall be installed at hole no. 10 as a minimum.

I have reviewed the course many times because i love it and hope they would improve it soon. But since they repair it (maybe half of year ago) no at least 4 teeboxes are still NOT open. We have to move to the fairway (like the winter golf) or on the plastic mat. This is insane when you still have to pay about $40-60/round (walking).

I will not play here for this season anymore. Really disappointed on management and maintainance process. Still, 5 stars for staff, the course layout and time saving when driving from the city!
