Good Improvements
Great to see several tee boxes getting a major overhaul at the moment. Fairways properly mown. Greens in decent shape though a bit fluffy/slow. The rough around the greens was a good, fair length.
Pace of play today was perfect. They were quite busy but our foursome got around comfortably in four hours. Accuracy off the tee is required here as the fairways are generally narrow. Thumbs up.
Love the course but…..
Course has a bunch of temp tee boxes, this should be noted when making tee times. Otherwise course is in great condition. Pace of play slow as usual, it is a muni though. Still love to play here.
Great beautiful course
Love this place. 2nd time. It's challenging but very well maintained. They are doing lots of improvements..keep up the good work
It is improving
Coming back after two months, the course fairway and greens are beautiful now. I also saw they were repairing some of the tee-boxes that i complained before. When they finished, i think this will be one of the best course near NYC. Love to coming back all the time. You should play more here to support them in improving the course of town.

Really impressed
Thought it was gonna be poorly maintained based on city courses I’ve played (in other cities, not New York), but was surprised at how well maintained it was. There was one hole where the tee box is a piece of turf but other than that, didn’t notice any other issues. Short course but worth it. Expensive in my opinion but that’s to be expected.
Always a Treat
This course always seems to bring out the best in me. I played with a friend who grew up in the neighborhood and who had not played there in 30 years. He was pleasantly surprised at the good condition of the course.

Just.. if you don't know how play golf go fishing....
Good course
Good course. Good greens, some of the tee boxes were being moved to new locations and we had to play across temporary tees. The fairways do run into each other, so cries of "fore" are frequent. Some of the fairways are quite undulating too, and one has to play blind, particularly hole 4, where thankfully there is a Marshall indicating when to tee off. Very interesting course.
