Greens were great
pace of play was excellent in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. Except for three or four tee boxes made of dirt. The course was in fantastic shape, especially the greens which for this time of year are playing like we are in late May. Great round.

OVERBOOKED AGAIN!
3 HOURS FOR 8 HOLES? 260 PLAYERS BOOKED ON COURSE THAT WOUKD HANDLE 175. NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE FOR MAINTENANCE 4TH HOLE T BX STILL CLOSED FROM LAST SEASON. WHERE IS THE MONEY BEING SPENT? A BEAUTIFUL COURSE THAT IS POORLY MANAGED.

The course is a little beat up
The tee boxes are beat up or don't have grass at all, and is littered with broken tees. It's not bad for the price, but it could use sone TLC.

What could be bad?
Playing Forest Park is always a pleasuree. It's the course closest to Manhattan, so convenience is a plus.
I've never seen it in bad shape.
The staff act like old friends.
As the seaon starts and Covid recedes, I expect amenities will improve

Great staff
It was our first time playing at Forest Park. We played a foursome. Arrived early staff let us go out. They were very helpful and awesome. The tea boxes were improperly marked. I was not a fan of the course layout, very tight and could present some safety issues if played at one and two tee off at the same time. Overall, there’s just not enough room for 18 holes at this particular course.
