Forest Park Golf Course

The course is in great shape but expect soft greens and thick rough. This course brings out the best in me despite tight and tree-lined fairways.

I always enjoy playing here. It poses challenges that make accuracy essential like tight, tree-lined fairways, longer distances to the fairways, and thick rough.

When compared to some of the other NYC muni courses, this was one of the better ones. Fairways and Greens were pretty well kept. Pace of place could have been better. Took almost 5 hours to play a round on a weekday afternoon. Group in front of us would hit several balls off the tee with no ranger to help push them along. Otherwise, decent course for the money

I canceled my reservation, I saw the refund in my account, but how I get it back to my bank account? Every time I cancel, the refund not go back to my bank account, and expired to redeem. No option to get the money back, no customer service on this App.

Long tee time waits would be appreciated.

And colored flags to indicate from middle or back would also help

The grass is in fantastic condition. Greens are slightly above average, and in overall good condition.

No halfway house or food/drink options at the turn.

Only gripe is that the Marshall refuses to enforce pace of play. I was bunched up with 3 groups that were all 15+ minutes behind waiting on a group to finish on hole 1. All 3 groups politely mentioned the group taking way too long on hole 1 but the starter declined to have anyone speak with the group. Ended up being a 4:50 round.

Some of the hole layout creates congestion due to tee box proximity to previous green. Only real downside is there is no range to warm up on but oh well.

Great round and will be playing here more.

This is is my most favorite golf course. I always enjoy playing here and I will continue playing on this course for a long time to come.

I enjoy Forest Park Golf course. The course is always kept in good shape. 4 hour round on a Sunday morning can't beat it.
