The course was in terrible condition. I grew up playing this course and it was never really in great condition(30+ years). It just looks like there’s no course maintenance at all. The gentleman in the clubhouse was not friendly at all. It’s a hard challenging course and that’s the only reason I try to get back to it once a year

Forest Park Needs Help

This course is a gem. Unfortunately the company that runs this city course is only interested in extracting as much money as they can while offering the public the bare minimum. There are at least 4 greens vandalized by carts with donuts from last summer. The greens still have the donuts.

The other issue is the management does not care to educate all the new Covid golfers who by and large are ignorant and clueless. Repair ball marks on the green, repair divots; do not drive your fat lazy selves all over the course with the carts—no carts on tee boxes or off of green fringes. Why can’t the course print out a one page flyer and hand it to the players as they go off. EDUCATE.

Too Many Weekend Golfers

Way too slow but not the fault of the management. They spaced everyone well off the first tee, but too many players who have no business playing on a regulation course were ahead of us. They need a ranger. Otherwise, it is one of my favorite tracks, a real gem in the middle of Queens.
